Playstation Move's launch liine up is disgraceful.

Ok so we all know Move is a great piece of hardware and I was going to pick one up next week, though looking at the line up I think I'll wait. Do Sony really expect people to go and buy this thing with such a poor line up?, the games look unbelievably bad, where's the killer app. I know Killzone and Socom are coming but I would expect something solid none the less at launch just to get a buzz going.

Edit: I should have added that I'm in no way saying Kinect has a better line up, I don't care what that piece of crap has to offer, but I'm actually dissapointed by Move's line up because I was actually looking forward to using this device though it seems there's no reason to get it till next year.

Actually I'm pretty excited about Time Crisis Raging Storm. I always loved Time Crisis at the aracades and it comes with that one and two more games (Some other Time Crisis and some Pirate one). It is also going to suppord RE 5 on release. However other than that it does look pretty lack luster. Games that might be good are Echochrome 2 and Tiger Woods (with the precision). I'm pretty sure Time Crisis could hold me off until LBP2 though. By the way this information is coming from game informer. September issue.

Well on Amazon and other places it says Oct 20 but in this magazine and other places it says thats the Japan release date. The magazine says the North American release date is the 19th or 20th of sepetember

Well there Echochrome 2 which I think is a launch title. Not sure through but it supposedly coming out this month.

Yeah I saw RUSE on the launch line up but I don't know much abuot it I'll check it out.

I want to see more about this Lord of the Rings game. I've only seen one IGN video of some weird kid playing it. The lack of information makes me weary, but I'm always looking for pleasant surprises.

There's actually been more interest in Kinect among gamers, then MOVE. Pre-orders have been higher for Kinect, even though MOVE is coming out before it. You may want to ask yourself, "Who cares about MOVE?" We'll see what sales are like at the end of the year.

Wii's launch wasn't that bad. It was definitely better then the PS3's launch. There was really nothing to play on the PS3 for the 1st year and a half. Also, no gamers were bringing the Wii back to retail stores after the holidays like they were with the PS3. I believe the Wii was sold out everywhere for the first 16 months after launch. Same can't be said for the PS3 or XBox 360.

I seriously see very respectable scores a couple of the games, so I don't see why so many people are poo-pooing the launch titles, especially considering that Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5 Gold are going to be sure-things. Sure, this isn't going to radically change the path of gaming, but for people wanting to waggle in HD, it seems like the Move is a more technically impressive follow up to the Wii. Sounds good to me.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to add, the Move specific games are a mere $40. Cheaper than Wii games, even. A wise descision on Sony's part.

Difference was with Nintendo's god awful launch lineup they were 1st. Sony has had 5 years to copy Nintendo, and the best game they could do was a wii sports knock off? I expected move to be garbage, but at least pretend like you put some effort in Move.

Since Heavy Rain, RE5, MAG are already supporting MOVE at launch it's already have a better lineup than Kinect. And not to mention Dead Space 2 supporting Move as well.
