Playstation Social Media Hacked, Alleges PSN Databases Leaked

Apparently Playstation's twitter and facebook accounts were taken over by "security group" OurMine. The account tweeted out "PlayStation Network Databases leaked"

Hopefully nothing serious actually got compromised, but at the same time perhaps Playstation should update their passwords

Do remember that 2-factor authentication is available on PSN now

Social networks aren't connected to main Sony servers. They are connected to the social media company servers; Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Sony obviously doesn't have very complicated passwords. I'm sure that will change.

Not as good as the Game of Thrones leaks. Joke aside Sony still hasn't learned, maybe they should increase their sub price again to pay for better security on all their sites. These social sites do answer their consumer questions so sensitive private messages are compromised.

Generally speaking though if a good hacking team decides to hack someone ... theyll do it with one way or another, soon or later.

Back then, I fell for the hype with FB being awesome and I hated all the gossip BS everyone keeps posting and so yeah, screw FB and never look back!

Twitter and Facebook are getting easier to hack. This has nothing to do with Sony and more to do with those social media sites being socialed every other minute.

Ourmine have hacked loads of Youtubers they're pretty harmless. They just tell you to update your password or shit like that. Have not seen them do anything malicious.
