B-but I thought this would sell worse than Oculus Rift and HTC Vive?

It's not the greatest VR obviously. Tracking is not on Vive and Oculus Rift's level, and even many WMR headsets are adding more cameras. So the PSVR's one camera system and motion controls are already outdated. But I think it does a reasonably good job at comfort (halo strap design licensed by Lenovo and is now used in the upcoming Oculus Rift S), VR accessibility and price point. And you can still play Rec Room, play must-haves Beat Saber and Superhot, and watch feature length movies on a big screen, or videos with naked people just like with the other headsets. And Sony did not abandon the PSVR like many said. They even announced No Man's Sky VR, Five Nights At Freddy's VR and Iron Man VR today, and made the award-winning-mind-you Astrobot last year. Hardly call that quick abandonment!
Meanwhile, some Nintendo fans who talked shit, can look up the ass of a cardboard bird soon.
