"N" Handheld out sold MS Console... This just in as well, water is wet... Shocking, no really. lol :P
@tonylogan007:
Cost isn't my issue. The two products are very different and should not be compared and same with Sony's Home Console. An apples to oranges thingy. Should we compare cell phones sales to Switch since they both play games on the go? :P
@SecretPolice: It might be handheld but they still cost around the same if I'm not mistaken?
Ignore him. He's just a really poor troll.
Oh contraire, I'm a really rich troll. lolol :P

I meant why is it obvious that Switch sold more? And I know they're different but they're both made for the same audience. Switch might have more "childish" looking games but hey mostly non-children are playing them :)

The Switch is a console. 3DS is their proper handheld.
@Bread_or_Decide: @tonylogan007:
I'm only half serious and half troublemaker. hehe. :P
I hear ya. Happy Friday ya'll.
Why is it embarrassing? Its a good portable console with quality games. One X is a good console but its lacking games and costs a lot more. It makes sense.
I don't think these sales are only for the OneX. It also includes OG Xbone and One S numbers.
This news isn't surprising. Xbone is failure in Europe outside of UK.

Kids, this is a prime example of a person who's being salty :(
Not looking good for Xbox this gen. I hope they step up their game next gen to force Sony and Nintendo to do better!
Spain hasn’t been a huge market for XBox, so this isn’t a huge milestone. But it does provide further evidence that Nintendo has a big hit with the Switch, and that maybe the outsold Wii U articles in [territory] will be slowly replaced by outsold XB1 in [territory.]
Other than Japan, I don’t see any “outsold PS4” articles on the horizon. That thing is a beast, and has a big head start to boot!
Glad to see everyone is supporting next-gen console that is Nintendo Switch and not some upgrade 4K/PC wannabe Xbox One X. Make next-gen consoles great again.
So why support the PS4 Pro when it's also a 4K/PC wannabe console? I know it has some good 1st party titles, but still a pseudo-PC
Why is it embarrassing exactly? Switch is a cool piece of kit that is selling very well everywhere.
Omg... what a sh*t thread. Talk about clutching at straws.

I didn't say "One X." I said "One." As in, the original 2013 model, the One S and the One X combined with their total sales since launch.

It could happen in France too.

It was mostly for the pun, but it's still pretty embarrassing to Microsoft to be performing that badly. It just seems like a complete and utter flop outside of the US, and even here it's struggling.
Switch is over 300k there, while Xbox One is a little under. Geeze. Source is in Spanish so use the translator of your choice: https://www.gamereactor.es/articulos/468583/Sorpasso+en+Espana+ya+hay+mas+Nintendo+Switch+que+Xbox+One/

The past occurred, as suggested previous indicators , during the competitive Christmas campaign of 2017. Microsoft bet strongly for its brand new and powerful model Xbox One X, while Nintendo was still trying to meet the constant demand of his small desktop. At the end of the year, based on the numbers that Gamereactor had access to, Xbox One remained at the doors of 300,000 units , while Nintendo Switch ended up overcoming that barrier.
What are the sales for the PS4 in Spain?
those numbers for both the Switch/XB1 are poor, when you consider the population is 46 million. It says to me that Spain has a very small gaming culture more than anything else.

He doesn't own a PRO, but he also never knocks it as seen above. Dav is a cow who hides in the closet and claims to be a PC guy. Yet a recent example of his BS, is that as much as he talks about being a PC guy he went and brought the new Dragonball game on PS4 LOL.
So many cows cowering behind their PC's these days :(
@davillain- : It's not a next gen system, dunno why that has to be told to you time and time again.
The Switch is a Next-gen system, the Wii U was 8th gen and failed miserably. The Switch is Nintendo's next iteration of hardware to support and is a next-gen system. Power does NOT measure how gen works, it's just a marketing tool to sell to blind loyalty to corporate slaves.

It's in the article. PS4 is approaching 3 million, so 9-10x what Xbox One could manage. And stop trying to deflect.
There. That new title should stop at least some of the damage control. Face it, the One has a problem. Really, I feel like the One X was mistake and that MS should have just waited another year or two and got a headstart on next-gen. One's rep can't be salvaged at this point, and desperation tactics like Game Pass won't help.
Microsoft just needs to throw the whole console away.
This is why I say Gen 7 is the best. Even if the Wii was the clear winner, EVERYONE did well. EVERYONE sold over 80 million consoles and had great exclusives.
Wii U had great exclusives, but that annoying ass tablet sealed their deal. Though they bounced back with the Switch. The Xbox One just failed in marketing AND exclusives. They have yet to bounce back. PS4 only did well in the beginning due to the Xbox One screwing up, though after a year they started getting solid exclusives.

I simply asked what the sales are for the PS4 for a comparison and their not 3 million which is better than both Nintendo and Xbox sure, but with a population of 46 million and less than 4 million sold between the big 3 that doesn't scream "we have a big gaming culture" now does it?

market decides if a new gen comes or goes. Switch is not next gen, it's the same gen as ps4/xbox one.
Sony should be worried as Nintendo makes inroads into Europe too (they're already top dog in Japan, North America, and soon to be China and Korea). I don't see any scenario where the Switch doesn't sell 200+ million units.

lol no. Sony has nothing to worry about. Europe is Sonyland and other than Japan and maybe France, Nintendo won't be overtaking them anywhere. They are too far ahead and selling more consoles than Nintendo worldwide. Last year alone Sony sold over 20 million PS4s and they year before that as well. This year they'll probably sell well over that with the heavy hitters they have lined up. The console war for them is over as they are too far ahead for Nintendo and MS to catch up. It's MS that needs to worry that Nintendo will overtake them.

Heavy Hitters, now that's funny!

What's funny about GOW4, Spiderman, Detroit, RDR2 (exclusive content and marketing), and potentially TLOU2 releasing on PS4 on the same year? Anyone has gotta be on drugs if they think those games won't push a lot of PS4s this year. Couple that with a likely permanent price drop to $199 and PS4s will sell like crack cocaine. This will be Sony's biggest year yet as far as sales go.

One of the 3 has only been out for 10 months. 3DS is also not far from 3 million. Xbox One is the odd one out. It's doing extremely poorly. Also, your comments about the size of gaming in Spain are irrelevant unless you're basically trying to deflect by saying that Spain doesn't matter. Also, acting like Switch and One are basically in the same league is stupid. It's like saying that Switch is a flop in the US because it's currently only at 4.8 million in the US when there are over 300 million people in the US. Time is important, sorry.
