[QUOTE="osan0"]im afraid that im struggeling to see how u coulod be having serious problems with the mouse and keyboard TC. i use both game controllers and KB&M (i have all platforms) and im afraid i simply cant comprehend how u could be struggeling with KB&M after a few months. uve the the mouse controlling the camera...so killing enemies is point and click basically. now the keyboard does look intimidating at first but really...ure only using 8-9 keys on it unless u wanna make shortcuts in the game. imho its the easiest (after some practice) and the most powerful interface available to games and does a crackin job at pretty much everything bar sports games.
where exactly are u having problems with it? maybe i can advise...it would be a shame to see a 1500 PC go in the bin (from a games perspective)

I thourougly appreciate everybody's help.Maybe all hope is not lost...I actually dont have any problems whatsoever with the keyboard,it's the mouse which just doesnt feel right. My right hand just starts getting tired after a few minutes.
Tell me do you rest your arms and\or elbows while playing.Have you got your chair arm rest in line with the table or is it below and you use your table to rest your arms?
Edit:And are your arms stretched while gaming or not.I feel having them stretched gives much more precision but it also becomes tiring.
ideally u want ure arm to be at 90 degrees to ure body roughly so that ure wrist isnt bent too much and ure fore arm and hand are aligned. so try and keep it low-ish. also if u find ure wrist getting sore then u can get a mousepad with a gelpack in it...there really comfy and not too expensive at all. also if u find that ure getting pains in ure wrist that are kinda different then take a wrins. persistent playing with that can give u a permanent injury (though u have to be playing like mad, in the worst conditions for a long time for that oo happen.
dont hold the mouse tightly. use ure thumb and outer fingers to gently push it around. the mouse is a very precise and accurate piece of kit so itll pick up any movement. if ure not happy with the distance the pointer is moving then theres a setting in windows to change it somewhere and mose games have a sensativity option too (usually a slider) (or if u have a high end gaming mouse then theres probably sensativity buttons on it). as a reference for sensativity, im happiest when i can do a full 360 degree turn in a FPS without needing to lift the mouse up and reset (and ideally i like room to spare on both sides after the 360 turn). its a real nice sweet spot between accuracy and quick reaction. thats different for everyone though. on the desktop, i also have the sensativity up so that i dont really need to move my arm...its all wrist and finger action (stop that snickering down the back :P).
dont outstretch ure arms....thats whats making them tired and, really, its probably not giving u that much more precision. getting the sensativity right will greatly affect precision more than anything else. u should be sitting close enough to ure keyboard and mouse so that ure forearms are at around 90 degrees to ure torso.
hope that helps.
