Pledge Your Allegiance!!

While I only own a PS3, I frequently play 360 and Wii, and occasionally PC as well.

I'd like to emphasize the distinction between fan and fanboy. A fanboy is biased towards one platform and against others. On the other hand, a fan may prefer a certain platform but is open to gaming on other platforms as well and appreciates a good game regardless of the platform.

After explaining that, I hope I can safely say that I'm a PS3 fan. :P

Now let's see the population of fanboys vs. fans here on SW.

Manticore, I have all systems and each gets its time in the light, and each for different reasons.

Though if there were a great war where I was forced to choose, I would go to my first home, Nintendo.

I'm a fan of GAMES, and the developers that make them! A shout out to Bioware, Bungie, Ubisoft, Rocksteady, Crystal Dynamics, Turn 10, Konami, Epic, Capcom, Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, Nintendo (from the dev side).... keep them hits a comin!!! :D

If this were 2006, I would vote Lemming since the 360 was the only system I had. But I grew to like the other systems sadly in 2009, yeah, blame me, so I choose Manticore.

Cow and proud of it. I might play all the systems but Sony will ALWAYS have my loyalty, always. 99% of people claiming to be manticore are just closet fanboys.

I don't get these people who pretend that all consoles are equal in thier eyes.Everbody,and I mean everbody has a bias towards one particular console.

Another case in point, I like my 360. But playing only on that platform doesn't stop me from appreciating or praising games on the other platforms, including Uncharted 1/2, Ratchet games, KZ2, Infamous, GoW, Zelda, and Metroid, among others.

Fanboys are incapable of giving credit where its due, and cannot justify hate of a game beyond it being on "an enemy" platform.

im preferential towards sony but i can admit all platforms have some good games (i might not personally like them, but that doesn't make them bad games) i grew up on NES/SNES and when sony hit i switched over after nintendo started struggling with the N64. for nintendo i like their flagship franchises even still (nsmb wii was fun as are the zelda games) and sony for the more "mature" (ie blood guts cussing and violence) titles. i don't have an xbox, well mainly because i don't like microsoft in general but even at that i can admit there are surely good games on it (just because i don't like halo doesn't mean i'm the status quo) and even at that if Rare was to make a new KI game i could be convinced to get a 360 on that alone.

By your definition a manticore, but I prefer MS this gen, In the past was Sega/PC

Probably a manticore with a slight lean towards the 360. Definitely a fan not a fanboy. All the systems are good, and all of them have their problems.

I was a lion transformed to a lemming then became a cow, now Im a retired veteran cow, I let my children to be attack force here in SW a long time ago

and most of them failed, Im thinking of going back to my roots.

I mean how could you not point out how weak it is to go behind PC to justify your inferior console ?

I would have voted manticore (I have a PS3, Wii, and PC), but I hate the 360. So I went with sheep.

There are honestly very few manticores here. Many of us just pretend. I like my 360 better then the my Wii but sometimes I can be pretty biased in favor of the Wii so Im kind of like a mantisheep.

Pretty sure I would be classified as a manticore. I already own a PC, Wii and PS3. I have nothing against the 360, I'm just very behind on games at the moment, so I figure I'll hold off for now and see if there is a price drop next year. If so, then I'll nab one.

I don't have more allegiance to any one console in particular. I personally want to see them all succeed and continue to provide quality games.
