Pokemon Black and White, Meh or Yeh ?

I mean sure Platinum and other recent Pokemon games have been decent .... But !! Who remembers the old days of the link cable and Pokemon Blue and Gold ? Yeah those sure were the days.... I don't really know why the recent Pokemon games haven't been as good as the old ones, but I think maybe it's because they need to change up the formula a little, maybe introduce some cool little features ( they don't have to change alot ) I just want them to make it fresh and exiting !

But anyways, do you guys think Black and White will fail ? Or are you keenly anticipating it ? Me I'm counting down the days till it's release and I can't wait, but I can't help feeling it's not going to be as good as Blue/Gold/Ruby for some reason ???? :P

And hey, Nintendo...if you just want to remake Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 for 3DS, that would be okay too.

For Some Reason I totally forgot about this game, instead of doing this they should focus on remaking Ruby and Sapphire on 3DS imo.

I'm not very interested. I hated gens 3 and 4, and I don't expect this one to be much better. That, and the horrendous looking starter pokemon were enough to turn me off.

I am burn out with Pokemon so I am taking a break from the series.

Interested mainly in the updated movesets. New pokes look lame. But eh w/e, will buy.

I'd rather wait for the "Gray version" and even then I still would probably not be interested in it.

I haven't even finished Soul Silver yet (I've put it off for months) but i know for sure I'll be getting the new iterations. Just label me a sucker. :(

I don't hate it, but I don't like it either.

I do love Pokemon but it depends on if I've done everything there is to do in Soul Silver and feel like moving on.

I have a feeling that Black and White will be the Final Fantasy VI of Pokémon and then be totally upstaged in popularity by the next 3D one to come.

I'm actually looking forward to it. They changed and updated a lot of things. They want to make it feel like Red and Blue to a newer generation.

This is the first pokemon game im just not interested in playing.. Im actually Furious that its not on the 3DS... I mean SERIOUSLSY WTF. Here I was thinking oh awesome next gen. handhelds means we will FINALLY get a full 3D pokemon!.. and then its coming out on the DS so they can get away with making as few upgrades as possible once again... Its like a spit in the face really... I mean how freaking long are we going to have to wait to get a ***** ****ing 3D pokemon rpg?!?! Its going to be atleast 2 more years on whats already 12 years of waiting UGH

Its going to be atleast 2 more years on whats already 12 years of waiting UGH

there's co-op in black and white? when was this confirm? there also exclusive regions both game. (black city in black and white forest in white or maybe thats vice versia). is pal park in black/white

I Really Think Pokemon is the only Nintendo DS game that actually uses the Built-in Microphone as a way to talk to people Online (well, there's also Animal Crossing). It's a neat feature.

I hope the 3DS gets a Cross Game Chat or Party Chat Feature that uses the Built-In Microphone.

I think Meh. I played Red all the way through, but couldn't find the energy to finish any others. They follow the same formula too closely, and it feels like I'm playing the same game, even if it has more content and better graphics.

black/white has a video option where you can see the other person and I guess to talk them. kinda like a webcam

No, I tried SS for a couple of hours. Kinda fun, but got bored. Pokémon games are all extremely alike, so I wont bother again.

Probably won't get it, I'd rather replay HG tem more times (no joke).

I'm getting pretty excited for them. No major complaints with the new Pokemon so far, love that they're actually changing things up a little like actually putting in a story and all the new gameplay changes, and it's Pokemon, so I'd get it regardless. :( I actually think this is the most change any Pokemon game has had, aside from little add-ons.SeraphimGoddess

I think the only gripe with black/white is the way most the pokemon look(got a few favorites so far) and the english names for the pokemon remember( 1st two gens have easier names for me to remember. third gen names was alittle easy for to remember. 4th is like really hard for me to remember the names). I'm thinking that gamefreak should fire the artist who creates the pokemon designs and fire the guy who makes the English names.

one of the biggest gripe for me is going to be the 3DS pokemon games when they come out. first there is going to be a pokemon grey (I bet it its a dragon/water ) then a remake of ruby and sapphire (wouldn't be so bad but I want a remake of pokemon of yellow) and then a new game with new pokemon. the second is the 3DS hardware, if there truley is B/C support for the older pokemon game's then I would be a little upset (cause i can't transfer pokemon from fire red for example to what ever the new 3DS pokemon game cause the 3DS can't play gba games).

Not interested in the slightest. I didn't like direction and quality of Generations 3 and 4, and from what I've seen, I don't like direction of the newest one.

I've skipped on everything since the first batch because there wasn't anything different enough to hold my interest but this one looks a little different so I'm going to wait and hear what people have to say about it.
