Oh yeah pick out the picture with the cute characters
How about in terms of gameplay? Pictures say nothing.
I'm not saying MGS sucks but seriously too many people underestimate the core of Pokemon gameplay.

I have to agree on that. Pokemon has some really awesome gameplay. Both games are great.

I admit that I've never played it, but I see I've ticked off some series fans. I was just teasing the TC.
I liked Pokemon Diamond. I have to admit it was a bit of a disappointment though. It was too similar to the past entries.
I don't see why you're comparing to MGSIV, which btw, you haven't played.
But if I had to choose between the MGS series and the Pokemon series, I'd easily go with MGS as the more enjoyable series.
No MGS is for kids who thinks violence is cool. Pokemon is for adults who play games the way its meant to be played, to have fun.
Pokemon > MGS

Massive generalisations with no evidence.
[QUOTE="Optusnet"]Neither games go for the same bloody demographic. Pokemon is meant for 6-14, whereas MGS is meant for 15+.

Pokemon > MGS
Yeah thats why i've seen people that are 20+ preordering MGS4 at my job. Yet when Diamond came out a ton of kids bought it.
Seriously to say MGS is for kids and Pokemon is for adults is just pathethic. Also just for the record I played and finished MGS(PS1), MGS2, MGS3, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Ruby, and Pokemon Pearl.
:lol::lol::lol: Thanks TC for a great morning laugh. I needed that. Pokemon Diamond (my girl has diamond and I have pearl) is fun and all, but sure aint' no MGS.Yep. Its because I played MGS series, and found it boring. But the pokemon series was nore fun and addictive.

Pokemon > MGS
No, games like halo and gears are for kids. MGS is more story driven and younger people wouldn't understand it.Well I'm one of the biggest MGS fan out here, but I almost agree with TC !
Pokemon is the most memorable game I have ever played! It's easy, it's fun and it has great replay value in my eyes...But as I said just almost, because MGS is THE most memorable game, not the best, but the most memorable game : )
agreed
Pokemon was maaaaaad fun....tons of people will refuse to play it though because they think its too immature and uncool for them though....
