probably.....I think FF VII: Crisis core might be the psp's last huzzah.
discuss.
in retrospect...out of all the handhelds that challenged nintendo's dominance....the psp did great to hold it's own for a little while
Kudos cows:)

grr..get pearl!everyone is getting diamond....I feel so unoriginal
and yes.....my bad about the d/p thing
yah, i think so. Pokemon is one of the top most profitable and popular video game franchises on the planet and will surely entice gamers to buy a DS if they havent already.
PSP has nothing to combat that kind of power. Its hardware wont do it and its games sure as hell wont.

In case you hadn't noticed, the PSP is about to outsell the Gamecube and Xbox. It may be getting stomped by the DS, but so is every other console. The PSP has sold 20 million in a little over 2 years. That is a pretty impressive mark, and I would be willing to bet that the PSP ends up above 30 million sold when it's all said and done. Just because a console is losing out to another does not mean that it is on the verge of death. The PSP has absolutely no chance of catching the DS, but it isn't going anywhere any time soon. The PSP is consistently out selling every system except the DS and Wii is both the US and Japan.SmashBrosLegendHe speaks the truth.

There is a problem that's not being addressed, however. While PSP hardware sales are strong, compare that to the PSP's software sales. They are extremely lacking.

That is very true, but there are some titles that sell quite well here and there, especially in Japan.
Software sales have been nowhere near stellar, but they aren't bad enough to warrant
calling the system dead or dying.

SmashBrosLegend
Software sales are bad enough to say that the PSP is dying since developers have already been forced to change focus from the PSP to the DS.
As for Japan, it's been proven that PSP software sales were atrocious in 2006 at least. I'm not hating on the PSP but we can't exactly paint the situation it's been going through with rainbows and sunshine.
