Pokemon Series >>> Halo Series

This is just a fact of life for the System Wars crowd imo

And I posted this to see if anyone thought it slightly odd? I mean between the two I'd prolly take Pokemon over Halo 3..but that's because I'ma  big fat cow...:D 

And I don't think lemmings can bring sales even into it...

I think the verdict is pretty much in then...Pokemon > Halo.

No thanks. Pokemon is really for kids (no offense).....knowing my nephew is obsess with it, and seeing a majority of the kiddy population is obsess with it.

Pokemon came after my time, so it's not my cup of tea. The same reason Transformers came after Kevin Smith's time and therefore, he admittedly doesn't care for it.

I'd take Halo 3 anytime over anything like Pokemon or any iterations of it. And also I don't like Dragon Ball Z.

Both are awsome.

We where introduced to pokemon in 1996 via Nintendo 64. Since then it has sold 150+ Million copies spaning 5 platforms..

N64: Pokemon Stadium; Pokemon Stadium 2; Pokemon Snap;
Gamecube: Pokemon Colleseum; Pokemon XD; Gale of Darkness;
Gameboy Color: Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue; Pokemon Yellow; Pokemon Gold; Pokemon Silver; Pokemon Crystal; Pokemon Trading card game; Pokemon Pinball;
Gameboy Advance: Pokemon Ruby; Pokemon Saphire; Pokemon Firered; Pokemon Leafgreen; Pokemon emerald;
Nintendo DS: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl; Pokemon Mystery Dungeon;

We first played Halo in 2001 via Xbox selling 14 Million copies worldwide,
Xbox: Halo CE, Halo 2.
Halo sold 56% of the Xboxs user base with only 2 installments on 1 platform in 6 years. How are these game comparible again other than your preference of game? What is the point of this other than that? 21 Pokemon games versus 2 Halo games.. In comparison Final Fantasy is 10 years older than Pokemon yet its only outselling it by 20Million copies, if you want to talk milkage then Pokemon is the ultimate milkage.

If you divide 14m by 2 you get 7m. Multiply 7m times 21(number of pokemon games) and you get 147Million games on 1 platform that Halo is published to be on, does'nt look like a big difference to me, but maybe Im blind.

Pokemon is fun....But I would take Halo over it anyday, and you can't compare two completely different genres.O_Lineman17

Like trying to compare apples and... paper towel :?  Just too different.  Personally, I prefer Pokémon, but that's just because I prefer RPGs over FPSs.

SRSLY? Did you pull that 20 Million from your rear or something? Last I checked (as in right now) Pokemon Franchise: ~155 Million. Final Fantasy: ~75 Million. You're off by a little bit.
