Okay, here are 3 things I would like to see happen with the ps3:
Point #1 & #2: Both Insomniac and NaughtyDog need to either REMAKE, or make TRUE sequels to the ORIGIONAL Spyro The Dragon, and Crash Bandicoot series. these have always been playstation brands. all the incarnation's of these games on consoles other than the psone, have been from a develper other than the origional. Those 6 games, the spyro trilogy, and the crash trilogy were the best series on the psone IMO. they were Sony's "Mascots" , and were the "System sellers of the console. I was really dissapointed to see sony let go of them on the ps2, especially since they carried the psone pretty well. I am also extremely dissapointed in insomniac, for selling the rights to spyro to vevindi games, and think it was the worst descision ever. the legend of spyro trilogy, is the worst trilogy in history, and i personally would like the origional developers, to do true sequels on the PS3.
Point #3: I seriously think that konami should make another CONTA game exclusive to ps3, bring it up to todays AAA FPS standards, and use the MGS4 Engine. (this has nothing to do with mgs4, this is about CONTRA, in no way am i talking about MGS4 besides that part). The exact way im picturing it in my head right now, I wish it would show you, because I could honestly see it revolutionizing the genre like halo did, and easily see it becomming GOTY. I could see it playing similar to the Metroid Prime series, and having really strong co-op, and also having an isometric camera, as well as FPV, TPV, and OTSV.
Who agrees with me that those 3 things should happen? I miss the old days of being really 7 years old, playing spyro and crash, on my psone, having no cares of the world.....good times...good times.............
