(POLL) Best character models on consoles

It seems there is still debates going on as to what game has the nicest looking charecter models. Basically, im refering to the best presented overall appearance. I want to be fair as possible, and if anyone wants to post *LEGIT* screenshots for me to add on the original post ill do so. Just make sure they are not huge.

I feel that ive picked good contestants. I know Mass Effect could of been up, but im sure people would start to post PC screens up. Personally, I think Killzone 2 takes the cake. But id like to see what the community thinks. Remember, don't be afraid to post a sn you think is better.

Gears of War 2 (X360)

Killzone 2 (PS3)

Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3)

The character models in MGS4 were the worst part about the game's graphics in my opinion... even though the game still looked amazing. This comparison isn't really valid until KZ2 and GeoW2 are released though.Funkyhamster

I don't really see the great details on the character models on the guys in the killzone 2 screen.

I'll go with Gears 2. If you look at their suits, you see more detail on Marcus's suit than Snake's. You can see that Snake's layout is alot sleek and clean looking but it's nothing more than his muscle layout with little detail. Marcus's character model has more detail and it's more rugged.

Well, that's my two cents.

Imo, the games with the best animations are:

MGS 4, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Crysis, Gears of War (even below that giant bulk of armor they move fluidly), DMC 4, maybe Im missing another game.

Mass Effect looks much better.

I'm a huge fan of Mass Effect's character models. They're really sharp (where as I find Gears 2's to be a little murky) and incredibly detailed (where as MGS4s can be a little lacking in detail). Plus, Wrex just looks plain awesome :PMetroidPrimePwn

Wrex is just unbelievably detailed. My dad thought I was watching a movie when he saw Wrex.

Find me a more impressive character model on a console. Mass Effect combines technical brilliance with a distinct artistic vision in its character models. Nothing on any console comes close to Mass Effect in terms of character models.

i've played mgs1 ,2 and 4

the first two were decent. the 4th is over the top silly japanodrama with excruciatingly long and boring cutscenes

mgs4...the thing with gears is that they have these big gigantic suites and you dont see the body..in mgs4 you see all the muscles ..it really stands out...Angakua
