POLL- Best new IP this gen?

We've seen tons of franchises this gen, but my question to you is- which one (according to you) is the best?

My answer is Mass Effect, with Uncharted and Assassin's Creed close behind.

So, I obviously couldn't list all of them, since there are tons, so just vote for "Other" and write which one you wanted to vote for in your comment.

For me littlebigplanet, but also Assain creed :)

all console games? that's surprising coming from you. also, i'd never peg you as a littlebigplanet fan, that's awesome.

Mass Effect for me.... Love Bioshock & Ass. Creed and Uncharted as well though

Demons Souls no contest.

Then comes Portal and Witcher.

Mass Effect, of course.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I found Uncharted, Mass Effect, and Assassin's Creed to be mediocre at best. This is going by the second installment in each franchise.

My answer is the Batman Arkham Series easily.

Uncharted definately, with AC second. Mass Effect and Batman are boring.

Portal - Great level design, very fun and innovative gameplay mechanics, quirky and funny dialogue, plus the ending songs hehe

Mass Effect - Overtook Star Wars for my favorite sci-fi space media. So much to like about this game, high production values (outside of ME1 bugs lol), one of the few games where I actually cared about the story and packed with plenty of stuff to do and high replay value going through battles differently, different tactics, going male or femlale, paragon or renegade, etc.

Uncharted defines this generation, imo. It sets a high bar for audio, visual, and gameplay experience.

Stalker.

My vote goes to LittleBigPlanet. Easily the most creative IP this gen and LBP2 is in my top 3 games of the year. Uncharted shouldn't be on that list. Mediocre game is mediocre.

Gears of War, Uncharted, Boishock...in that order

assassin's creed is one of the most boring games i've ever played. maybe i'm just not equipped for that genre or something.

so many good ones this gen, but I have to go with Mass Effect followed by Portal and Dragon Age.
plus great one-shots like L.A. Noire and HEavyt Rain that will hopefully come back in some form or another.
