Chrono Trigger is definitely one of the most beloved games ever, but Cross is no slouch either, not to mention getting a 10 on GS. In my book, both of these games are must owns for any RPG fan.
So here's the question: Trigger or Cross?

I liked chrono trigger much better than chrono cross. Chrono Cross to me...didn't really have the same feeling chrono trigger had. I also don't think it deserved a 10 but it was still a good game. I look at chrono cross as a different game and yeh it was good but not as good as chrono trigger. I didn't get the whole dimension thing and how the main character was dead in one dimension and alive in the other and that put me off through the whole game. Great that makes me wanna play the game again lol.kakanouciaYou should read this if you didn't understand the story. http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Main_Page.html Though you might be even more confused after reading it. On a somewhat unrelated note, I found these snippets on that aforementioned site. "In 2007, Hiromichi Tanaka stated that Chrono Trigger may appear on the Wii if copyright issues could be worked out." "In February 2007, Tanaka revealed that the issue of a new Chrono game was reunited key personnel to ensure the Chrono feel, but reassured interviewers that a continuation was certainly not out of the question." "In 2007, Tanaka notes that the issue of making a new game is getting developers of the former games back together (whether they're in different companies now or split among Square projects such as World of Mana and FFXI)"
I havent played either (waiting for a Chrono trigger port or its VC release)
is Chrono Cross a port?

I didn't get the whole Crono Cross masterpiece thing.
To me it's just about getting character after character and they pretty much all end up being useless in the end except for the main story line ones.

Plus the entire collect-a-character was/is done better in the Suikoden series anyway. The overly worthless characters also lead to the down fall of the tech system as well. *shakes head*
You people who say Chrono Cross sucks are fools, it was just a crappy sequel...think of it this way a crappy sequel to CT is still a 10, thats how good CT is. Also there are the fools that voted CC, which is inferior in every way.
