my wish is that fanboys of each console could just respect the other. it seems to me like the 360 fanboys are the most harsh, how could any try to come up with a list of reasons why they think LBP sucks? and then theres the wierdo's who will be like "MGS4 is not enough reasons for me to buy a consoles" when half the 360 community bought 360 day one for halo 3. or when they say things about it now, "LBP and God of War 3 aren't enough for me to buy a PS3", lol thats when you look pathetic. to me theyre both great systems, but i obviously prefer ps3 slightly more. it has better exclusives.

I don't think [most people] want a console to fail - usually they just want to get all the good games on their console of choice so that they don't have to pay for any other console or clutter their room(s) with gaming systems.

A lot of people are afraid that the Wii's popularity could be a step back for cinematic and technically beautiful gaming if third parties begin to support it, though. Whether that fear is unfounded or not will only be revealed with time.

Nope. I don't understand how someone who calls themselves a gamer can want a console to fail when there are games that you've never tried on it.

I would love for the 360 to prosper (not more than the PS3 though :P). I'd love to play Gears of War and Halo one day. There's also Banjo, which I was a fan of when I was younger so I'm excited for the latest installment. BUT there's no way I'm spending $300 on a console that will crap out on me, months after I buy it.

Well i don't want it to completley fail but the wii should fail because to me it feels like its trying to leave the gaming world and become something like a nice pair of shoes. It something that people want at first but then it wears out, u know?

I don't really like the PS3 from what I've seen and the Wii was fun until Pro in Wii Sports boxing then handing it off to a friend. That being said I have a red ringed Xbox 360 but it still has been supreme. Video Games seem to be in one of the worst droughts in history IMO but maybe it is my circumstances or perspective. Still, there is no reason why I should be interested in MS-DOS text RPGs.Gamertag-TFTW

Without Sony, your beloved Xbox would be a pile of crock especially since the Wii isn't a comeptitor in the Hardcore Market. That goes the same way for you cows, the Xbox is what made the PS3 strive for what it is.

Competition drives for better games and consoles, without it we'd have one overpriced console where the manufacturors don't care about the consumer or the games developers.
