I chose Killzone Shadow Fall. The game looks awesome!!
IMO, Battlefield 4 looks good, but not as good as Killzone Shadow Fall.
KZ:SF is the first game I am getting for PS4.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
These 2 are games i only care for the multiplayer. So it will depend on how both play.
I prefer KZ3 mp than BF3 mp. I will have to try both to decide.
Single player: Killzone Shadow Fall
Multiplayer: Battlefield 4

This aswell but GG have brought back the KZ2 MP director for SF so it could actually be close in terms of MP.
I like the large scale of Battlefield. Â I'm sure Killzone would be awesome with tons of people all on a map but for some reason GG hasn't taken the series in that direction.

KZ:SF looks a lot more futuristic with better weapons as well.
lostrib
Bf4 isn't supposed to be "futuristic" and it is supposed to have realistic weapons
Doesn't matter. KZ:SF looks like the better game: Better weapons, Better atmosphere, Better music, Better presentation

and then 10 hours later it will be done. Â And BF4 will still be going strong
I'll have to get back to you on this question once I've had time playing them both.
I mean, even based off previous titles it's hard for me to say too. It's been a long time since I played a Killzone title. I think KZ3 multiplayer beta was the last one I played. I didn't even bother playing BF3's singleplayer either, because I just assumed it'd be awful anyway.

KZ SF single player will be better for sure. But online is yet to be seen, we gotta wait until the 20. I go with SF anyway lol
This is ridiculous you can tell how many die-hard cows are here that probably don't play either game yet voted killzone. Nowhere ever has Killzone come close to Battlefield .....MBirdy88
Killzone will have the better campaign and do a better job of showing what the hardware is capable of. BF4 will have the better multiplayer. Both will be great games.

Well, considering what we have seen of BF4's single player, and Killzone SF single player I completely disagree.... yes ok BF4 is your typical army setting, but tdamn that aircraft carrier scene and the first level playthrough looked a hell of a lot better than Killzone's showings. and thats without vehicle combat scenes ect. This is ridiculous you can tell how many die-hard cows are here that probably don't play either game yet voted killzone. What are you talking about? I played Killzone 2/3 and i played BFBC2 and BF3, Killzone is better, and Shadowfall doesnt have to worry about developering for previous gen consoles or PC or Xbone.

Yea sure... is that why KZ2's MP struggled to get 10k players at its peak and half the people couldnt even control it properly? and yes i am honest, look at my raptr achievements I was in that top 5% for a week. KZ3 was even more poorly recieved. BC2 and and BF3 were not. the latter still has nearly 100k players on each platform at peak. so no, not really debatable Killzone Franchise is NOT anywhere near.Â
I cant take anyone seriously who supports KZ2 even though I played it for 50+ hours doing the MP achieves. (back when I cared) ... the game was a mess, the level of collision detection delay in shoot was ridiculous... awful awful netcode.

Killzone 3 single player was pretty much Crysis 2 in another shell.Yea sure... is that why KZ2's MP struggled to get 10k players at its peak and half the people couldnt even control it properly? and yes i am honest, look at my raptr achievements I was in that top 5% for a week. -_-; well that explains it but both are s*it in that department, my god i cant remember a single bit of the KZ2 campaign or Bf3..... both so awful. But yea exmaplins it then... Battlefield as always been multiplayer focused.Killzone controls like total ass compared to BF. Its counter intuitive to what a competitive MP shooter should be
KZ has one good thing going for it and that's the mode switching during rounds. I would love a thing like that in BF4 where you could go from TDM to rush to CQ (though I don't know how that would even work)Â
KZ will have a better campaign but BF4 will be better overall and will have a far bigger playerbase
