(POLL) LittleBigPlanet, is it appealing to you? *250+ votes*

This game will be a must-buy for PS3 owners IMO (the ones with imaginations at least :P). Ill even go so far to say that this game is a GOTY contender. The ease of customizing your own 2d level (massive or short) just baffles me. You don't even have to make a level, you can make bosses. Playing your saved creations or making levels with online friends will be a blast! To top it all off, you can upload your saved creations on the online leaderboards and have other people rate and download them. Not to mention the game will come with its fair share of pre-made maps. Im curious as to what you all think about it.

Some other features I didn't mention in that glob of paragraph not many people will read. -the ability to use pictures stored on your HDD to help create your level, -setting gamemodes for your levels (race, or collective type modes), and of course -offline co-op.

Just a recent preview from a guy at Kotaku... A quote from it. "It's becoming almost a cliche to say how much fun and how cute LittleBigPlanet is. But each time I play the game I'm surprised to find that my already absurdly high expectations aren't just met, they're exceeded."

I have some crazy ideas for levels , that is the main appeal ...... plus I can play it with some of my family members who would get a kick out of it.

For me it is a great level maker, and an incredibly boring and indifferent game in its gameplay

I mean the gameplay is basic at best, the worst i have seen in a game lately, os what is the point in making new levels, when the gameplay sucks so damn hard ???

the video on GT where the guy made a simple race level in like 5 mins and all the customization that was possible is incredible. I can't wait to see what some crafty people will design.

Seriously I can't wait for this game. The wait for Halo 3 and even MGS4 doesn't compare to LittleBigPlanet. It hurts. :(

Yeah, I hope Sony advertises this well.

I dont see this appealing to the average PS3 user.

My guess itll go the way of Viva pinata and sell a million by being discounted to $20 after a few months.

Next to MGS4, probably why I will buy a PS3

Never in my life have I ever been hyped so much about a game as much as I have for LittleBigPlanet. It's the kind of game I've been craving for a very long time. It's almost the sole reason I am buying a PS3. Each new trailer that comes along manages to speed past my expectations and then keep on going. I couldn't be more excited.

Appealing? It's more like insanely attractive to me! This is one of those games that is meant for my extreme tastes, and every time I hear any news about it a small tear forms in my eye as I realize I do not yet own a Playstation 3. Do I ever need some extra cash these days...ATW_machine
