Poll - Predict GoTY

Just wanting to get people's thoughts on GoTY. I know there will be plenty of people who will want to know why a certain game wasn't included, (I think Resistance 2 should be on the list as well), but space is limited for choices so I hopefully mentioned the games that most people would universally agree could have a legitimate shot at GoTY.

So let's hear your thoughts. Personally, I'm thinking Fallout 3, hands down.

If GTA4 or MGS4 doesnt win thats basically proof they didnt deserve a 10johnnyblazed88

Um, that's some interesting logic. First off, a 10 does not denote a "perfect" game. Secondly, a game can be a 10 & still not win GoTY if there are a lot of other stellar titles in the running.

GTA IV won't be able to hang with those games imo despite the score. The gameplay just isn't strong enough. It will win and get nominated for a bunch of awards - best new character , voicework , humor ...... but it's not GOTY. That shouldn't happen.

i personally would switch both of those around. gears 2 will end up with a higher overall score on gamerankings, and due to more replayability, will win goty here.

Fallout 3 isn't out yet. I don't think upcoming titles should be included in these types of threads/polls considering how easily they can flop.

metal gear and gta are the only games that i think have the best shots at goty

runner ups will probably be gears 2 and little big planet
