POLL: What do you score Metal Gear Solid 4?

Am considering buying this game soon- but have heard a lot of negativity about the pacing... how would you rate it?

Honestly, I loved the game and it was my personal GOTY for 2008. Buy it, hate it, love it, I think it is something that should be experienced by all gamers. Although, if you aren't too familiar with the story, good luck trying to understand what is going on :P

it wasn't the strongest in the series, but it was still great fun. 9.2/10 for sure.

About a 9.0 it's a good game but not the strongest in the series though.

Can't wait/ would love for there to be a trophy patch. I remember Konami saying that they heard the fans and were looking into it.

8.0 an interactive movie with about 4 hours total of actual gameplay.

I haven't played it yet as I'm still playing 1,2 and 3

It was good but the story and ending was disappointing. I prefer MGS3 over it.

Negativity of the pricing? Idk where you live but I can buy it new for $30. Not bad at all for one of the greatest games ever made

I bought the ps3 for this game and I gonna say I was disappointed. I mean it is a good game, but it the greatest game ever like it was hype up to be. I would give a 8.

It was good IMHO, but WAY too over rated as the game goes overall. I got the game used for $15 and it still wasn't worth it to me. One of the most boring gaming experiences I've had since the NES. Nedemis

I think I gave it a 9.5 a few days after release and after beating it mostly due to hype. In reality I think it is a 9.0 because it really has no replay value for me with the huge cut scenes and not much game play.

I really enjoyed it. I thought the pacing was pretty good and the set pieces were fantastic. I have completed it 3 times and love it to bits.

I voted for Meh. It's one of the two games this gen that I started playing but didn't finish(the other is the Bourne Conspiracy). Too much interruptions by cutscenes anda vague incoherentstory(I knowfans willdisagree) make it a pretty average gamein my taste. The actual gameplay is good though.

The game is one master piece, brought Ps3 for it , is the single game i ever payed 70Euros for and DAMN if that was worthy

The nostlagia, the quality, the Epic boss fights, apart from lenghty cutscenes and a slowww paced 3 act (the stalking one) the game is beauty

The thing i like the most is that i can see that Kojima really tried to make the game the best possible.
