I probably beat MK64 15 times and played the multiplayer more than Quake 2. Such an awesome game, and well underrated by GameSpot. Might I add that Diddy Kong Racing also was amazing - but like the GoldenEye and Perfect Dark match-up; it was overshadowed by it's competition.
Agreed. Online play (though, snaking is annoying as hell), mini-games, unlockable characters and courses, unlockable karts, classic and brand-new level designs, etc. It's still one of my favorite DS games.
Well MKDS was doomed to win since too many people have bought a DS and since gotten on to GS. I'll have to MK64 since it was an excellent party game for when you were done with Mario Party and Super Smash.
MK64 easily the worst, huge and ultra wide tracks killed all the fun of watching your opponents in other parts of the maps and there were ocassions were you raced very alone in very empty tracksÂ
Super Mario Kart was revolutionary for SNES so much fun but outdated now. Super Circuit for the GBA is awesome though much loke the SNES version. 64 had 3D graphics and 4 player split screen was awesome. Double Dash was just ok. DS is the best though. Online/ Wireless play for way more players than before. Most tracks and racers. Just the most complete.
MKDS. It took all the things I loved about 64 that were lacking in DD and made it so I could carry it in my pocket. How could I not love that? Now if only the online wasn't gimped by damn snakers.
