Ummm, Controller FTW. And 360, they already have a few succesful MMOs already, plus larger community is better. Though MMO PC ftw anyway.
It depends on the games i suppose.Noth the ps3 and the 360 have different mmos coming out down the line
PS3-The Agency,DC Comics MMO
360-Huxley,APB,Marvel MMO,Age of Conan
Oh and if you're playing a mmo on either console , its not gonna be free, there will be monthly charges regardless of console
PS3 - Dedicated servers much more suited for MMO's. HeroOfCows:lol:
You cant play MMOs peer to peer, there will be dedicated servers for mmos for both the 360 and ps3. Thats what the monthly charge is for
MMOs are not suited for consoles at all without it being seriously dumbed down. Hell, even FFXI, a console focused MMO, sucks so hard on consoles. My answer is none. Zero. Nada.
Personally I think extended versions of Diablo-esqe gameplay (Like what is found in Guild Wars) is more suited consoles than a game like WoW or DAoC.
im gonna have to go with PS3 on this one. MMORPGs love HDD space....lots of it so the 40 and 60gig would be more suitable. then theres the free service (though id expect that there would be a monthly charge for a MMO on PS3...but no other service fee on top of it). keyboard and mouse are also fully supported.
360 could also provide a good game too though.
wii would have probs though due to its limited memory.
I'm pretty sure the Wii had a recent update that allows a keyboard to be attached...sexy_chimp
Yeah but not voice/microphones and it has THE worse internet support.. I would know I own one.. I like the system but I am honestly wondering wth was Nintendo thinking? I had more functionality in 1997-8 on the pc for online games.

Actually, other than missing voicechat, its online is almost as good if not the same as the PS3's.

Friend codes , can't download demos, videos etc etc..
[QUOTE="laughingman42"]none. MMO's are bad for your soul. :evil:remzeus21
For you, but not for me. btw anyone voting for Wii?
I've had4 good friends get addicted to MMO's. It sucks, I am completely against them.
[QUOTE="Bgrngod"][QUOTE="Kook18"]PS3 since it can use mouse & keyboardagentfred
And an M+K setup is required for an MMO now?
A keyboard is boarderline essential for many modern MMOs. I don't know if you've played any, but hotkeys are crucial.
unless the game has voice chat in full, typing your messages also become a bore when you have to select every letter from a cattalog with your controller

The 360 has a keyboard attachment which plugs into the controller called Chatpad.Im an MMORPG addict(Not WoW I hate WoW) and I spent most of my gaming time on it. Now with the exception of PC, which do you think is best suitable for an MMORPG for the next-gen console? IMO, PS3 because it has a free Internet and also can be played with a USB keyboard & mouse which is very important for an MMORPG. BTW WoW SUCKS!!!remzeus21
