Polygon: Metro Redux 1080p60 on PS4, 900p60 on XB1

The two Metro titles will be sold individually as downloads for $24.99 each, and Deep Silver will release them bundled on disc for $49.99. Expect the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One versions to hit this summer, with dedicated Linux, Mac and SteamOS versions to follow in the coming months.
Beynon said the console versions are expected to run at 60 frames per second. The PS4 version will run at 1080p resolution, with the Xbox One running at 900p.

Based on the gameplay demo of Metro 2033 Redux that we saw, the game generally looks brighter, exposing more detail in each level but "without losing that soulful, mournful edge that the fans really liked," Beynon said. "[4A] has put a huge focus on lighting."
The Redux version of Metro: Last Light is also getting a graphical facelift — though it's less extreme — and a handful of new gameplay improvements. Players will be able to check their watch and inventory, two fan-requested features. The Redux package will also include all of Last Light's downloadable content.

Eh, it's hardly last gen. Metro Last Light looks better than plenty of current games and it only came out last year.

I would assume relatively high, but I'd be surprised if it had PC-level of tessellation. Most PS4/XB1 games have lacked tessellation (Thief, Tomb Raider, BF4). Metro LL wasn't that hard to get a clean 1080/60 if you turned down the settings a bit, and the differences tended to be relatively unnoticeable.

Wasn't Metro a pretty graphics intensive game? I thought it was? Anyway, if its 900p for the One its all good for me. I like the price for 2 full games and dlc.

Meh. I already have this on my PS3 for FREE. I have no intentions on upgrading to next gen for this game. Publishers are just trying to milk gamers for more money for the same games. lol!! Not upgrading for TLOU, TR, GTA V or any other last-gen game. I want this gen games.

I own all the systems. Most of these games being remastered for next gen I already own on my PS3 or Xbox 360. Why would I pay for the same game twice? If they offered a FREE trade in maybe I do it, but that ain't happening. these publishers want more money.

Try 2x the performance of the equivelent PC. However, not in most multiplat cases.

lol 2x my butt, if that was the case you would see the consoles performing on par with pc hardware that was 2x faster then consoles which has never been the case. And most multiplats are designed for console basis then gets ported/worked on for Pc.
