Poor PS3

The Wii just got galaxy which is averaging a 9.7 from all the sites

The PC just got Crysis which is averaging a 9.2 and got a 9.5 here

And the 360 is about to get Mass Effect which is most likely another 9.5 from gamespot.

PS3 which already had the weakest library for any system this gen is the only game not to get a huge blockbuster game this gen.

Alot of PS3 fans have probably been waiting for Assassins Creed but that game flopped big time on IGN witha 7.7

and how many of those games you mentioned, besides cod4, stack up with the real heavy hitters. the answer is none. none of those games can match up to halo 3, crysis, mass effect, bioshock, smg, etc. average games does not equal console superiority

Mario Galaxy is going to go to 93/94% just like Twilight Princess, which stood around 96/97% like SMG and then dropped after a few 8/10's(which galaxy will no doubt get soon).

No. It probably will stay above 97%. There's no way it will drop below 96%.

first off there are more quality titles on the ps 3 than the wii. look at the reviews not just one game but for the rest.

after mario, zelda, metriod you get the average scores of 4's.

360 might have better games now but of course it has been out the longest.

plus i rather have a AA adventure, platform, rpg, than all AAA fps.

wow. I own all three current gen systems and I think the ps3 is best. Plus it is selling more in Europe.

Everyone has their own opinion, al the consoles are great. And I would say thet the ps3 has the best lineup for end of 07 and 08. But others would say otherwise. Anyway how can you say poor ps3? My 360 always makes a load of noise and you never know if one day you will get RROD. Not trying to be a fanboy but thats your opinion not fact. No one cares.

Also, have you played most of those games? I seriously doubt.

Ps I forgot about UT3.. yeah that game pretty much stacks up with those socalled heavy hitters. That's if it makes it this year. If it doesn't there's still lots of other good games. Maybe not AAA on Gamespot, but still good.

Sims is the most popular series in video gaming. The quality of a first party Ninty game is what all other developers should weight their games against. I love jak and R&C but reality is, both are just run of the mill platformers. They cannot compare to galaxy.

The numbers he mentioned were sales numbers released for January to the start of September that showed the PS3 ahead by 840,000 units. Unfortunately, what he left out is the 360 has outsold the PS3 by over 400k every month since which not only puts it on pace to have closed the gap at this point, but will give it a lead of 800k units at the end of the year, provided it doesn't do another 1 million plus December which would make it's lead considerably higher.

the ps3 is my onsole of choice along with the wii because niether offer only fps games

the ps3 has r+c (amazing) and uncharted just got a 9 from eurogamer and 9.1 from ign (looking like it will shape up nicely)

for the wii i have zelda mario and metroid(not comparable to the common fps im sorry its just way to much of a thinking game compared to the point and shoot stuff)
