Popcap to be bought?

thought this was an interesting article.

I'v seen tons of their games on PSN, i wouldnt be surprised if Sony buy them

there games are also on windows, mac osx, ios, and xbla. So they don't really have any connection exclusively with sony. As much as i would love that, i don't see it happening. Also they say the price may be north of 1 billion USD. The article hints at EA or a Japanese company.

If there is one thing about Sony that would be they love buying devs :P. seeing how they got everything on their network i wouldnt be susprised if its them but yeah who ever buy them hope they stay multiplatform, i love their games on PSN some of the best were their games

they posted $100 million USD revenue in 2010, so they do make a good amount of money. however, i do feel $1 billion is steep.

Hope they dont get ruined. They make some really fun games.

I would. $1 billion is too much for Sony to be spending right now.
