Portal 2 - $29.99 (PC) or $39.99/$34.99 (360/PS3) / Mortal Kombat $39.99($29.99)

If you have been holding off on getting Portal 2 like me, well sort of, I bought a PS3 copy but wanted to play on PC but I CAN'T!!!! because of PSN Down (so I returned it)....well here is a great chance to get it cheap (if you do not want to wait for the Steam Summer Sales)

After May 1st (This Sunday);

K-Mart will have the Xbox 360 and PS3 Copies for $34.99!

Gamestop will have theXbox 360 and PS3 Copies for $39.99, plus the PC copy for $29.99.

It is unknown how long the sales will last; I would say a week (but these could be perma.) who knows.

Nice sales, but I'm in no hurry to get it, since I'll just play the SP once and be done. I'll wait for the used price of it to drop.

But you can give the other copy to a friend (or sell, which I wouldn't recommend since Valve was so nice to do such a thing) so I hear.

If I remember correctly when purchasing the PS3 version you get the PC version but it is tied to your steam account only.

Not paying any more than $20 for single player only games. There's too many games that are a year old and drop extremely quickly in price. Portal 2 is one of those games.

PC version. Yes the PS3 version comes with the PC version and Mac, but the PC version saves you $10 and I don't really see why a person with the PC version would want to play it on their PS3 with a gamepad and no mods.

ITT: some impatient people who cant wait for psn to come back online. Seriously if you have the ps3 version then you already have the pc version for free. Finished the sp? then no worries move onto another game until psn comes back on. This gens become way too dependant on online gaming and its quite sad watching people whine that they cant play online, like their system and games are broken without it :roll:

I don't understand why they are selling this game for so cheap when it just came out last week. Is K-mart even going to make a profit at that price?

That said, I will probably just rent this game as I heard that the single player doesn't take that long to beat.

It's getting to a point where it doesn't pay to pre-order a game. If I paid $60 for this game last week, and this happened I would not be happy. Especially at some place like Gamestop or Target that doesn't guarantee a price for 30 days.

Luckily I paid only $35 on Amazon, but still this good of a game should not be dropping in price this fast. I guess that aren't selling as many copies as they expected to.

I was honestly contemplating shooting over the border for this... Especially since i'm buying US at 0.9575 right now lol

I just ordered Portal 2. Its supposed to arrive on Wednesday, so I really really hope PSN is up by then. If not, I'll play the SP, and shut myself out.

Hey, Amazon is matching those prices for Portal 2 on 360 and PC, and both versions of MK are $40.
