It could be a mistake but even if it isn't I would never get a valve game on a console :).

Im half Convinced satan will come into my house and hit me with a snowball before Valve actually gives a damn about PS3 Development.

I want Sony to work with EA to make sure that the port is a good one. Sony should have a dedicated team to aid in ports. They tried with Bayonetta but that was at the last minute. Sony could have done more to aid more in the begining of development. Sony needs also to add KB/M abilities for all games that can use it.

halflife2 sucked on ps3 but portal wasnt a bad port. really hope this happens! especially since the recent news of valve hiring some ps3 coders, this looks promising

Well, I highly doubt this. Valve always seems to hate on the PS3.

But if it doesn't, Portal doesn't take a very powerful machine to run, so PS3 owners can get it for PC.

Umm... what? Maybe, you didn't like it, but tons of people loved it. Personally it's one of my favorite games this gen. Don't pretend that your opinion is the only one that matters.

change EA to activsion, EA by far do the best ports, that is a fact, activision however do terrible ports, see MW2.

Valve honestly doesn't care about the PS3 that much. If a new guy at Valve said "Are we gonna put this game on the PS3?" They would all give that guy this look:

I usually don't disagree with you, but you just made the frosted flakes rise from my gullet with that statement.

But if it's true I'm not surprised. Portal came with The Orange Box. So the sequel would make sense to also come out for the PS3.
