How is free DLC an indicator of a half done game? The only way that would be the case is if the game didnt sell well.
Well, the obvious only reason it's free is because Valve is shamful of its incompetance and has to seek retribution in giving consumers what they knew they should have had in the first place for free.

Great stuff, got the game last weekend and completed it and doing the co-op with a friend. More DLC for the co-op and extra levels is allways appriciated. Hopefully more publishers and developers will take note of this as it seems to give the Valve games legs (i.e. I got Orange Box on PC recently, as well as the Xbox 360 version at release, due to the support Team Fortress 2 got on the PC). Good times anyway. Cheers for the news topic creator.

he was just joking. I wouldn't doubt it if there are actually people up there that think that though. If they pay for something or more for something it must be better.

That doesn't mean it should be free. That might work for Valve, but it doesn't make it practical for others. You're not entitled to free content. I haven't seen any 'ridiculous' prices yet, outside 15 dollars for 3 maps ( others are perfectly willing to pay that much). If you don't like the price, don't buy it. It's a fairly simple concept. Who is blocking the community from creating their own content with mods?
