Really? Garbage? I strongly disagree as evident by the numerous AAA titles spanning the 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, and hell, even the iPhone.
I swear every gen goes through this "Sigh, this gen pales in comparison" speech. There's always that one guy who isn't satisfied.
Granted it may not be as GREAT as other times, but I certainly don't think it's garbage.
Anyways, since this gen isn't over, I'll reserve judgment but I'd go with:
I'm pretty happy with this generation, but then again I'm happy every generation.

this one is pretty good, IMO, and describes games and gamers this generation (as far as the Xbox 360 and PS3 are concerned). everybody goes gaga over the same mind numbingly mindless concept repeated in every game, but they like it because it has teh shiny grafix.
