Post Stories...er, Ghost stories...

It's nearly Halloween. Have you ever had any experiences that you can't explain?

When I was 16 yo, I lived in a townhouse with my mother. Sometimes when I'd get home from school and my mom was at work, I'd be alone in my room and something would whisper my name into my ear. It was like they were in the room with me, and to this day makes the hair stand up on my neck when I think of it.

When I told my older brother of it, he was shocked, and admitted to having seen an apparition, what he described as a half a torso, bathed in flames, in my mom's bedroom.

When I'd told my mother about these things years later, she'd admitted to getting the place on a discount, due to the fact that the previous owner had committed suicide there.

F'n crazy. Right?

All of this, I believe to be true, and with Halloween right around the corner I have to wonder...

Have you had any 'unexplainable' experiences, SW?

Nope. Would love if magic was real though.

But magic is real... it's our iPhones/Androids. We use our phones as if they were wands. Magic = Technology and wands = phones😉

Last year I was in my bedroom at night and everyone was asleep. I heard a women crying outside like in my backyard but on the other side of the fence. Scared me as I heard stories about La Llorona growing up.

There used to be this park next to a cemetery downtown, had this small playground. All the kids called it dead children's playground, they'd always tell each other scary stories about it. One of those spots where teens would just randomly hang at. Guy takes his girl out there to spook her, kids kick back some brews, spark up, etc.

Me and my buddy David were a couple of young dumb stoners, we'd go out there sometimes and play on these peoples fears. Soon as we see some kids walking up in the distance, we'd hide back in the trees, make crazy ass sounds, they'd run off screaming lol.

One of the typical stories about the place was how they'd see the ghost of a little kid on the swings, or how the swings would just move by themselves. So my guy David started tying fishing wire to the swings, move them around, send these kids off screaming.

Kinda funny thinking about it, so many of these people probably grew up believing in ghosts over that shit lol.

Zero experiences with anything like that myself. About 6 years ago I had an instance of sleep paralysis and I remember feeling like something fucked up was in the room with me. Looked it up later that night, turns out that's just a typical sleep paralysis experience.

Legitimately saw a UFO once.

Could have been ghost aliens. No reason aliens wouldn't have ghosts.

Although it's abit weird we don't have dinosaur ghosts.

You know I was thinking about what I wanted to do for my D&D session coming up in light of Halloween, and I think a ghost-dinosaur and/or ghost-alien theme might be fun.

We did just finish a campaign with zombie dinosaurs, so really...not entirely off the books.

My mother swears at night she wake up -have something invisible and strong pushing down on her in the bed and she can no scream or get up. In the morning there is scratch and bruise on her back!!

Approximately two and a half years ago, I was visited by Satan. It happened to me in a parking lot, at a gym that I used to go to. I've never experienced anything like that [before or since]. There's no way I can adequately describe it in naturalistic terms. Satan was incredibly angry at me. I don't remember what he said to me; it was probably a request for me to worship him or to worship an idol. God won't tell me what Satan said.

Just to prove to me that it was the devil himself, he [Satan] sent me a vision. As Satan was talking to me, I saw inverted crosses everywhere I looked. They were on other people's cars, in the sky, on the cement, on grass and on street signs. When this experience happened, I had been praying about whether I should/shouldn't make Youtube videos. Satan hated the idea of me teaching people about God & the Bible. I've never heard a voice that was angrier than Satan's. He totally flew off the handle.

Although I do suffer from hallucinations, I don't believe this experience was hallucinatory. I never have auditory hallucinations and visual hallucinations at the same time. I'll ask God about this experience if I get into the Kingdom of Heaven. It'll be a very revealing conversation.
