Post the most disappointing games you ever bought

Master of Orion 3.

IGN gave it like 9.2. Listening to them, I bought it and found what a steaming pile of feces it was.

Unfortunately for me the GameSpot review came a few days later, 6.4.

That was pretty much the event that shifted me from IGN to GS.

Recently, it was Gothic III. I loved fighting humans/orcs and liberating towns...but I COULDN'T STAND the fact that wolves (as an example, other animals and monsters were just as bad) were still a pain in the ass even after leveling up. They could just keep attacking and you had to hope that they would stop so your fricking "being damaged" animation would stop and you could fight back.

Enter the matrix, it looked really good but turns out it sucked:evil:

well the game started off fun but it got progressively worse and worse until it got downright terrible at the part where you run from all of the Agent Smiths.

I know the history, I just couldn't figure out how a dev team could completely miss the point of the original greatness.

You must really hate that game cause you bring it up all the time. I have it, but i'm waiting to play it because I don't have the first one yet.

halo 3, thought the multiplayer would be much better

sonic adventure 2, i was like "where is the overworld thingy?"

sonic heroes was weak

mario 64 DS, i ahted having to switch characters to use different powers and yoshi was just weak

Spyro Enter the Dragonfly for PS2, damn that game is horrible. I loved the first 3 for the PS1 though.SOedipus

Does anyone remember the game Wario World on Gamecube? That game sucked so much, I thought it was gonna be great.

Ikaruga is the most disappointing game I've bought, followed by Gradius V and Shining Force Neo.

Most recently: Assassin's Creed.

Probably Unreal II: The Awakening on Xbox.

It had the Unreal logo on it, so I assumed it would be great. Me and my brother beat the game in a night and it wasn't even that enjoyable.

well i would've bought armored core 4 and assassin's creed for 360 and still be highly disappointed

web please give Dead Rising another shot I hated it for the first six months I owned it and then I said IMMA GIVE THIS GAME 4 HOURS OF MA LIFE and I ended up loving it, got about 40 hours out of it so far

Really? I can see why people dislike it, but I'd personaly consider it to be the best Zelda game.

Anyway, either Oblivion or Turok Evolution are my most disappointing purchases, but I think that Oblivion was slightly more disappointing since it had better reviews.

Genji- I couldn't stand the clunky big guy,with the tree trunk weapon.

WarioWare- Over in 3 hours- whoever gave this game a AAA should be fired..plain and simple.
