What do you guys think? If true, I'm glad to see Pikmin on there and I am a little surprised that Mario Bros Mii is on it even though it is a good idea. But..why are there 2 Rabbids games??

Looks good, and thats without Nintendo games. Remember all the multiplats will get the superior version on the WiiU thanks to it being more powerfull and having the screen controller. I sure hope Metro: Last Light will show us if there is enough bang for the buck in the WiiU hardware! :)
I am sorry, but that is a very weak launch lineup. Some of the games (like Batman) are games that have already been released and available for some time. Oh and also, w/ multiplats, the PC version will still look better than the WiiU one so nope, does not have the superior multiplat (unless if Nintendo suddnely decided to make it a power house, which I highly doubt they did).Looks good, and thats without Nintendo games. That looks like the weakest launch line up for any console ever

I don't know, to me it looks better than the launch line-ups of all 3 systems last gen. I know that several of them are ports...but doesn't that happen to the first system released every gen? I see at least 3 games that I would buy at launch which, if true, is enough for me to justify buying the system at launch.
Splinter cell 6 and metro last light seems like a stretch.
Though everything else seems like it could be a launch title.

lol, no dev is going to go waste money making the wii U verision vastly superior

Yeah but I'm sure that after three failed gens that's all going to change...lol...yeah I couldn't say that with a straight face. Nah..third party is poop on nintendo consoles. Cause they always push their first party and nintenerds only buy first party titles.[QUOTE="Mario1331"]

that not neccessarily true theres was many third party games that sold well on the wii, its just the fact that many devs hate going against the nintendo games which sells megatons.
and also nintendo doesnt provide easy architecture and relevant hardware until now hence why they are now getting the Superior AC, AC3,DS2, and BF3(if they are stil making BF for it)

Most of them are some mass market appeal games, there is not a large of enough core market to justify spending extra time
Might as well stick with the other consoles. And for the last god damn time the Wii U is not gonna be more powerful than the other consoles. It has already been said by 10 developers that it was the weaker of the three and Nintendo is still cutting things out to get it cheaper. I swear you people don't pay attention.

if its not a major cost difference then they will do it, they already confirmed the games i just named are superior towards the 360,ps3 version.
and besides if you did nothing different then they should not expect anybody to justify a sale towards it. so they actually would deserve that
[QUOTE="Heil68"]That's weak. vtbob88
It's too bad it doesn't have Ridge Racer, Tony Hawk, or Call of Duty 3...maybe then it could compete with the PS3 launch
and? I think you were trying for a point there, so keep going and you just may get there.Let's face it a console launch just needs at least ONE AAA launch title to be okay. Expecting more is just stupid...I mean is this your FIRST console launch or what? Gaming since the NES days I can tell ya...all launches are about ONE game and then waiting months for more games. Bread_or_DecideI think we may be on to something here.

I was just showing that the majority of console launches are weak. As long as there are a few good games than it is a good launch. The only launches that I can think of that I was dissapointed in was 3DS and PS3 because there really weren't many games at all on either I wanted or wasn't dissapointed in.
Not too shabby, but for me personally, I am dissapointed (if true). I want at least one first party game (doesn't have to be RIGHT at launch day) that makes me super excited. I am kinda expecting Metroid, but there are many others that would be awesome :).

Um, what? Nintendo would have to try to make a console weaker than the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, infact it would be almost impossible to do so, just one gigabyte of random access memory, a mid-range video card from 2008, and just about any quad-core processor post-2006 would result in a more powerful console than either the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. Also ten developers have not said the Wii-U will be weaker than the current generation of consoles, both Crytek and Vigil Studios have praised the Wii-U hardware. Will the Wii-U be a graphical powerhouse? Probably not, but it will be more powerful than current generation consoles.

I'll put it in a way you'll understand. Why would you get an extra console to play games you can play already on the consoles you got at home? This thing will go down just like the Vita if it doesn't kick in it's own exclusives... yes it's a tablet...... but they're counting too much on how people like new gimmicks considering tablets are already old this one is a gamble.. especially if it can't do the things regular tablets could do because everything shown on the Wii-U regular tablets can do except play console games... which they can on their xbox36/ps3 but tablets have apps...:| The Wii-U is a gamble at best and if you're a smart person you'll wait and see if it's worth it or not... no offence but as it stands you'll have to be careless to buy it like that.
i think that list is meh, especially if you already own a ps3/360campzor
It's definitely meh, but I find it kind of hypocritical that people complain about Nintendo consoles not getting these multiplats, and then when they finally do, it's nothing big because they're multiplats :?.

Was this the same mentality everyone had at the beginning of this last gen? Didn't the 360 have some ports in the beginning? It makes sense that a company who is making a game for multiple consoles will try to get into the launch of a new one with the game they are currently working on. I know it's not something great, but I would be surprised if the first console into a gen would have muliplats from the previous gen.
If Pikmin is indeed a launch game, this is the best launch for a system in a very long time. How would you feel if your favourtie franchise of all time was getting a sequel exclusive to a system's launch (a series that hasn't been around for 8 years)?

many people dont have those games and many people buy games twice or more. idc about the launch i was saying why third party games dont sell on nintendo consoles previously. its because they dont try and nintendo is behind in hardware.
im not buying it at launch what i was debating has nothing to do with uying the wiiu but why games dont sell on nintendo platforms

thats something i just realized. nintendo obviously cant win the heart of SW thats why i say they are fine without them, hell they are number 1 right now without them so to each its own
