Which one do you think will win?
My vote goes to LBP.

I actually think this looks really fnu, hopefully it'll be another sleeper hit for Wii =p
Out of those two though, I say LBP. Banjo doesn't interest me much, I never played the previous Banjos so the change in tone doesn't bother me, it just doesn't look that fun. LBP looks good just for the editing tools, making your own platforming levels =win.
I think neither games will be monster hits.
I'm I the only one who doesn't think LBP will live up to the hype? Does the general public really want to spend time creating their own levels? Don't the characters look a bit floaty in the video?
Banjo may sell more just because there are more 360 owners.
Banjo 1,2 & 3 = Win :DSecretPolice
Have they said when BK is going to be on XBLA?
But i think Banjo 3 will be more of a true platformer, despite what a lot of people have been saying when they saw pics (bu, bu, teh cars!?!?! ), whereas LBP will barely qualify. That doesn't mean Banjo 3 will be the better game, or vice versa, however.

yep Banjo 1 and 2!Sincerely i'm going to have to go with LBP, looks more inovative than banjo :D Al3x_n90
What makes it innovative? Creating your own level =/= innovative. There's plenty of games out there that have similar features (the biggest one being Garry's Mod) that do just as much, if not more. TBH, i think Banjo 3 is more innovative than LBP. How many games allow you to platform using vehicles?
Not only that, but innovation isn't always a good thing. I'm not saying it's not, but people like you act as if it's the only thing that makes a game good. And that's about the only thing i ever hear when people talk about LBP.
If you still think LBP is innovative, then tell me how it's a good thing in this case.
You see this is difficult. I don't know how fun the 40 levels coming with LBP is going to be fun. The beauty of LBP is the level designs that can be created and its community.
Banjo is limited in level design, but creative in actual agemplay. The beauty is in how creative you can be with the vehicles. Banjo is limited by its level design, but that is expected because it is a 3D platformer7 You really can't compare the 2.
I believe Banjo will with out a doubt be better than the 40 levels given in the game, but LBP is going to be the winner here because of the amount of replay value that can behad in making your own design.
basically, banjo>lbp at release...lbp>banjo 5 months after release....unless, Rare really beefs up banjos online...You see this is difficult. I don't know how fun the 40 levels coming with LBP is going to be fun. The beauty of LBP is the level designs that can be created and its community.

[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"]basically, banjo>lbp at release...lbp>banjo 5 months after release....unless, Rare really beefs up banjos online... Yeah I guess yo can say that. LBP relies more on its community and the user creativity moreso then Banjo. If some one doesn't like a level in LBP the user can create one or hopes someone creates one that fits the user tastes. You see this is difficult. In Banjo if the level design is great then the fun factor comes in how creative the person can be in building his vehicle. I believe just testing out vehicles is going to be amazingly fun.
LBP has coop and Banjo has multiplayer gametypes. I still give the edge to LBP because if you don't like the levels given to you,. you can make levels or hope levels come out that are fun for you. Banjo has to have fun level design or the game will fail. If Rare delivers on that part then Banjo will definately be up there with GOTY contenders this year. This also means LBP will definately be a GOTY contender too.

The blob is a puzzle game, according to gametrailers :P
edit: and LBP is an Action-Adventure game according to them as well.
LBP. I've never been more excited about a videogame in my entire life, and I've been gaming for the last 15 years.

Not saying that means it wont be good, just not geting my hopes up really.

Seconded. The very same years too I believe.
I think the people bashing LBP calling it a glorified map editor pretty much don't have a creative bone in their body.
