The graphics engine looks like it uses assets like that of Killzone 2 and the setting kinda rermindes me of Gears of War (cept the people are underground and trying to comeout instead of vice versa). A nice twist on an old "save the human race" theme. I like it.
On another note:
the animation is very well done, albit you can tell the game isn't running at a steady framerate yet.

please.... the graphics look nothing like Killzone2.. i guess you see a gassmask and think: killzone2.. lol..
The setting is post apocalyptic (like gears in some way), but nothing like gears.
Definitly has potential. From a technical side, It is an impressive engine. Look at the little details that were being animated, that is really good for something in pre-alpha. Everything else needed some work, they weren't kidding when they said its pre-alpha. Not including KZ2, there are shooters that are looking better too (R2).
Something to watch out for a I guess, but in this day and age you need to be doing somethin spectacular to really stand above the competition among FPS'. There are so many. So far, this one isn't showing any signs of uniqueness or originality. I guess we should wait for more info.

Looks good reminds me of Stalker! I can see the game featuring citys to explore and large landscapes so if that is the case we could be in for a treat that would also explain the less polished graphics at this stage. I think this game has a lot of potental so dont go calling it a flop off the bat for god sake!

Attacking? your the one wetting your pants over footage that looks like it could be done on the PS2. but watever...its your opinion fine, but don't throw it around like its facts.
More shooters? :? I wish devs could just focus on platformers like Jak and Daxter, but instead they keep making shooters. It's not like I hate shooters, it's one of my favorite genres out there and I'm anticapating Resistance 2 and Killzone 2, and Metro does look interesting, but for once, I just want a platformer, especially on the PS3.
This may not be an accurate claim, but I blame the Halo series for all these shooters.
