I dont think Wii could reach 90 millions , once its fad fades away , its sales will decline hard

You're basically predicting approximately the same numbers as last gen? You REALLY think PS3 will sell 100 million units when it launched at DOUBLE what the PS2 cost? You have GOT to be *bleep*ing me. I guess you're one of the very few people who isn't aware of the fact that PS2's majority sales weren't at $300, it was when it reached $200.

And how long do you think it'll be before PS3 reaches that price? Probably another 3 years by my estimate. In that time X360 and Wii will continue to have their own drops and climb in market share. No WAY will PS3 reach anywhere close to 100 million for this generation. Not a chance. And I'm still sure it won't be 1st this gen either. That's either Wii or Xbox 360.

i think its gonna be a lot closer this gen(well 20 mil difference is a lot closer than las gen which was 80 million difference between first and second place)

I think this because the PS3 and Xbox 360 will never reach the core casual market and thats why neither of them will get first(for the PS3 i cant see how the heck they are going to bring the price down to $200 casual price point, the 360 maybe but i doubt the elite will ever get there)

A lot of people have the PS3 over 100 million. A lot of people have the Wii extraordinarily low. I knew each console would have people who thought it would win, but I thought we were past the 100+ million PS3 sale predictions and the 25 million Wii predictions.

xbox 360: 60 million

i think it will take a long time for the ps3 to hit the 100 mil mark but with that 10 product life cycle they like to talk aboutit is quite possible. also the wii can hit the 100 mil mark if they keep pumping all those plastic steering wheels and wii fit mats all the other stuff they pump out to put your wii remote in. 360 can hit 100 mil mark if they can continue to pump those great titles and put something out comparable to the next halo game also keep up great xbox live support which is unmatched at this point.

I certainly hope that isn't the case. That would indicate a decrease in the number of gamers... or a large movement toward PC gaming which would be OK.

Lol... I could give you a more accurate answer if you asked me what I'm going to have for dinner on some random date in 2012.
