Less than 4.1 million. Keep in mind, NA was the only region to get a price drop. It has only been a week since the discount and I cant imagine any more than 100,000 being bought since then. Less than 100,000 were being sold per MONTH prior to E3. The PS3 is still very expensive, and soon will be more so.

Yeah, its funny seeing all the 'i want a PS3' and 'i just bought a PS3' threads. Before the PS3s pricedrop it sold about 80k a month in NA. I would say its now up to 200-240k, passing the 360 in monthly sales for the first time.

4 million at most, the price drop is only for the remaining systems on the market, after that there is no more $499 system.

How many of those 'I want a PS3' threads were written by children who have no way of buying one and that have parents that are smart enough to not drop that much money on a toy? How many of the'I just bought a PS3' threads were written by people that didnt or by people who already have and just said it to put the PS3 in a good light?
