Predict the score for ODST! (again!)

I know this was done some week ago, but under this time the hype for ODST has increased alot, so much that the last poll may be out-of-date by now. So I'm now doing this poll to see, once again, what people think ODST will get. I'm only doing AA or AAA, because lets be real, ODST won't ever be AAAA and it will surely not score under 8.0.

So AA or AAA?

And if you're a cow trying to hype ODST just to see it flop, please choose the third option :)

I think it can score a 9.

Im predicting AA mostly for the mp (already on Halo3) and the lack of matchmaking for firefight. On the other hand, i think the campaign will be awesome.

I know someone that doesn't really care for the Halo franchise and he's had the opportunity to play the game for a bit. I'm usually neutral with the Halo games, but to hear from his mouth that he'd actually wait for the midnight release for the game leads me to believe that it's something unique and refreashing for being in the Halo universe. I don't care if you guys bash me for using the whole "someone told me" bit, but I know his hate for Halo and I was surprised to hear this come from his mouth.

I really don't expect less then a 9 for this game. After all, it is Halo (cridicts apparently love the games) and it's apparently a great game from what early previews indicate.

Note: On the ODST disk itself; theater is only available. Forge is available on disk 2.

Wouldn't it be easier to just give the score instead of using this convoluted letter tradition?

I know majority hype is recorded at AA, but I'm gonna have a pair and say 9.0.

i originally thought it was going to be an 8.5. but after hearing the campaigns going to be roughly 8-10 hrs long.and seeing some of the gameplay for firefight. im going to give it a 9. and ive been hearing really, really good things about the campaign. and how good the story is. but i personally dont think we should have a poll like this until launch week. so we know all the details before we get our hands on it.

Well lets see its going to be a solid game with solid gameplay and good graphics, no bugs b/c its bungie ( prior bungie games can attest to that reputation) so we can be pretty sure of the quality so that puts it in 8.0-8.5 range. Lets see the firefight, halo 3 multiplayer, skulls, ranking and stat track system, replayability, slightly altered gameplay (its ODST not a spartan) and story put it in the 8.5-9.0 range. Lack of innovation and seeing how nothing too much new has been added or new multiplayer keeps it from getting a 9.5. I'm going to say 9.0 i am pretty optimistic about this game, and it seems fun. Also my halo 3 disk is scratched and i haven't been able to play some halo 3 multiplayer in a long time lol.

I love how the whole purpose of this thread is to try and raise the official hype, looking for a flop. Pretty lame TC. Just because cows are talking about ODST more doesn't mean lemmings have raised the hype, cows are the ones trying to raise it. Cows feel the heat that ODST is bringin' now..humorous.DeadMagazines

hoping for something under an 8so i can wait for a price drop theres is just to many quality titles coming out over the next few months!!! i do not wanna spendalot of money this winter

I completely agree with above. I've never played a Halo game before, and never even owned an Xbox/360 system. But I'm pretty sure the game will get at least a 9, maybe a 9.5.

C'mon...it's a Halo (FPS) game. I think it's pretty obvious that it'll get AAA almost everywhere (all of the previews I've seen have been entirely positive). Regardless, as soon as the first reviews come in, SW will be full of "Halo ODST GOTY" and "Halo ODST is overrated" threads.

And no, I really don't think it can be considered "just an expansion" anymore.

I have a feeling it's going to score a 9.0.
