What do you think will be the 5 top selling games this holiday and there sale numbers? I think it might be like this

Halo 3-------- 5 Mil

GTA 4--------- 4 Mil

Madden 08------3 Mil

Call of Duty 4 --- 2.5 Mil

Mass Effect ------ 2 Mil

1) GTA 4 - 6 millionish

2) Unreal Tournament 3 - 5 million

3) WoW: Burning Crusade - 4.5 million

4) Halo 3 3 million

5) Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 million

Halo 3 - 3.5 mill

You're the biased one. Even if the Wii surpasses the 360 in sales before Xmas, the 360 has a far higher attach rate for games meaning more people buy more games. Wii will have alot of games sold, but 360 is likely to sell more games this holiday.

If you are talking world wide and not just the US...I would have to say

1. SSBB comes out the same month

2. Halo 3 "Because it only sells well in the US"

I did not list Madden because it only does well in the US also.

Thay also have to realize that smash brothers isno slouch. it sold 6 million on the GC

When does Wii Fit come out? That thing is going to sell insane numbers!

Well assuming Wii-fit does not come out this holiday season then the top 5 will be Halo 3, GTA 4, Madden 08, Super Mario Galaxy, and the 5 spot is a bit wide-open but probably Smash Brothers Brawl.

If Wii Fit comes out this holiday season, and if Nintendo markets it heavily it will outsell everything, including GTA and Halo.

Madden will be number one as a crossplatform title

Followed by GTA3

Followed by Halo 3

Followed by Mass Effect

Followed by SSBB

It doesn't matter if some of these titles don't sell well in Japan. US/Europe is greater than Japan and there are Japanese games that sell out that don't mean crap here.

I'm trying to figure out why Madden and GTA are left out of that list. There is no way Mass Effect will outsell Madden, which is on every single system available, and gta, which is on 2 systems and is as casual as it gets. But then again it's hard to take the other four off your list other than Mass Effect. Mass Effect may be the best game p there, but it won' sell as much as the other 6 games.
