Predicting Consoles sales in next 6 month

well microsoft said they only shipping 1.6mil of 360 in next 6 month so as far as we know we can't expect microsoft selling alot.

and Wii is selling like a viagra, and there not seem to be stopping in the next 6 month

PS3 is selling normal but they are speeding up also the consoles releasing in europe with 1 million PS3 which will gets alot of sales.

is it possible that Total number of all 3 consoles be very close to each other? in the next 6 month

Six months from now, In August of this year, I'd expect for the Xbox 360 to stand around 13-14 millions consoles sold. The Will will be in the neigborhood of 10-12 million if they manage to keep a good pace and it does seem like they can since they're still selling extremely well with no sign of slowing down. I expect the PS3 to get a reasonable rise in sales in Europe in March and also sell some more here in the US with a few good, possibly great titles coming out. I'd guess maybe 6-7 million consoles for them by the end of August.

So in conclusion-

Xbox360=13-14 million

Wii=10-12 million

PS3=6-7 million

PS3 needs a price drop of at least $100 before it can pick up steamAvinashTyagi

probably that would happend before end of 2007 or meybe before the end of next 6 month if things slow down for sony.

The Wii is outpacing everything...for now. It remains to be seen how long they will keep this up.

The PS3 recently got a sales boost, but they got a long way to go...and M$ has a commanding lead (Almost or around 10 million sales by now).

My guess is in a year, the Wii will be leading by a small margin, with 360 in second, and PS3 in third, but possibly tied with 360 (Europe, Aussies are a mystery). Very close race indeed.
