Predictions: Next big exclusive to FLOP!

We've already had some pretty big and surprising flops this gen the likes of Driveclub, Halo MCC to Destiny and Batman.

Now there is a whole new hype train for upcoming games but not everything is going to receive the all mighty AAA reception at GS. I will add to games to choose from buy you can add your own if you choose.

Which one of these next 2 major exclusive games will flop?

1. Halo 5

or

2. Uncharted 5

Or do you think both will score AAA and choose another major upcoming game for a pending floppage exclusive or not?

Considering there's little hype for the game, I'd say that's not a good choice. A game like Uncharted 4, Halo 5, or TR flopping would be way bigger.

Could be Tomb Raider, but I could see the next one being Horizon....it's looks great and all but I was really put off how the character commented on everything she did or how to do something out loud to herself. I really hope that is just a tutorial type level or was for show because I don't want a game spoon feeding me the whole way on how to play it.

Out of those two, I'd say Halo has a greater chance to flop

Nobody cares about that game, despite being exclusive. Seriously, no one cares.

Uncharted 4 will not flop. Don't know much about Halo 5 to judge.

I kinda doubt Halo 5 will flop. 343 has everything to prove right now, and all signs point to them doing a good job.

I'm not too sure on Uncharted 4.

Halo 5, definitely Halo 5. Ever since 343i got their greasy, fat hands on Halo they've driven it into the ground. Halo doesn't have the name it had 5, or 6 years ago thanks to them.

@nyadc: A game needs hype to flop. No one knows what to expect from Until Dawn.

Calling it a flop when we hardly know anything and it is at least a year from release is just hating.

OT: Halo 5. The series is getting stale and the E3 demo failed to give a big splash.

None of those game will flop.

Until Dawn is a disappointment already because it's just like Heavy Rain. No real gameplay, only QTE's.

If it played like Silent Hill series I would have been a bit more excited. as of right now it looks like one of those horror movies with teens that are low budget.

Maybe it will be a nice surprise who knows, but seriously fvuck Yoshida for green lighting another Heavy Rain esque game. we need more horror games from them by sony japan or they could have at least made the gameplay not like heavy rain.

Uncharted, like the Persona and GTA series are immune to flops. That said... my prediction will be Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Halo 5 won't break 90 on Metacritic while Uncharted 4 most likely will. People are raving over the UC4 demo while Halo 5 demo was a letdown.

I'm going for broke on this one, 93/100.

I say Uncharted 4, that fake action and on rails stuff has got to get boring. For real, how the heck does Drake not get hurt? That shat is so fake.

It's just my prediction, not butthurt. I don't feel anything for that game.

You shouldn't talk if you have never played the game before because those complaints are so invalid.

Sure you do. All previous Uncharted looked more "fake"/linear than this and yet it scored critical acclaimed each time. You think that this will flop because of that? lol

with GameSpot giving the awesome for everyone but PC gamers Arkham Knight a 7/10, it could be anything really

Seems more like a dream than prediction.

Some may laugh but I think SFV will flop. Three reasons:

1. Capcom and Sony are hungry for money so they will try to suck every bit of $$ they can with micro transactions. (See: SF4 and Uncharted 3) This will hurt scores as reviewers are trying to act like they are for the gamer now.

2. Traditionalist fans may not prefer the new mechanics because they help "noobs." Many purists didn't like alpha and just want a good balanced SF and nothing new. They just want it to be like Madden and come out every year with no changes.

3. The recent Sony Curse. All the big games they have bet on have been flops imo. Games like Destiny, Asscreed and Watchdogs have been flops and under Sony finger tips.

I dont get this. What you mean costumes? As long as nothing is there to buy to disrupt balance I dont see the problem.

I'd put my money on Horizon, Recore, Quantum Break and Shenmue 3.

Well Until Dawn comes out in August.

After Disaster Chief collection and Halo 4 being dead a month after release only die hard lems are still in denial that 343 can't handle a big franchise.

I'm not even really a fan of the Uncharted games, but I don't see Uncharted 4 flopping. As a matter of fact, I have a hunch it will be the best in the series.

Your prediction is pretty sound IMO. Halo games not named the Master Chief Collection have never flopped (Halo 4 got a 9) and neither has Uncharted whereas Shenmue, as much as I want it to be amazing, could turn out to be a mess.

Crackdown 3. We don't even know who's working on it.

halo & uncharted will sell in the millions even if the games are utter shit. you do know they are the major system sellers for each console, right? fans will hype both the games to high heavens, and everyone will end up buying it. if you're talking about the gameplay then both are equally prone to flopping though.

Halo 5. 343 has yet to prove a capable developer.
