PREDICTIONS on when PS3 gets its first UNIVERSAL AAA game and what it will be?

It looks like Ninja Gaiden Sigma has a good chance seeing as how the Ninja Gaidens for the xbox were so great.  As long as the graphics look great and the framerate doesn't suck (these two things aren't a given with any PS3 game) then I think it might be the first AAA game universally reviewed.

I don't care if you are a cow, you have to at least admit you have been a little disapointed with the lack of AAA games for the PS3.  A lack of that game that you can pop in and make people crap in there pants cause it looks so good, plays great, and is loaded with so many xtras people won't make fun of you for dropping $600 on a console. 

Sadly, there are no current games for the PS3 that fit this bill.  Some look great, some play great, and some have made a decent case for blue ray, but there isn't one game that does all of these well.

MGS4. People are not exactly sure when it is coming though. It is supposed to come out by the end of this fiscal year so that is not going to be a very long wait imo.

MGS4. People are not exactly sure when it is coming though. It is supposed to come out by the end of this fiscal year so that is not going to be a very long wait imo.

PS3 has been out 8 months with **** to show. At least 360 had a few AAA in its first 8 months. To refresh your memory. I think if people want to count Sigma as a PS3 exclusive AAA (assume it gets AAA) then GRAW should probably be counted for the 360 also. Seeing as GRAW is completely different on the 360 and Sigma is a remake of an xbox game.user_nat

GRAW allready is a 360 exclusive.   Sigma is a remake of a rehash, with improved graphics and a few added levels, thats not an exclusive. That barely warrants as an expansion.

Even if it NG:Sigma did get AAA it would be tainted by the fact its largely a re-make of a last gen game. Nike-Air might be correct about MGS4. Its possible Uncharted could get AAA but its not written in stone. I don't think Tekken6 is going to make it in 2007 but thats probably locked for AAA.JiveT

No the FPS GRAW with a different story line was on the PS2, Xbox and PC.  The TPS with a different artstyle and story was on the 360.

reviews are OPINIONS also. the fact is, 360 has more games bceause it was out first. same thing happened with ps2 last gen.

No one is debating that the 360 has more games, thats stating the obvious. What your not getting is in the first 8 months of the 360's life it had 3 AAA exclusives.

PS3 has how many AAA exclusives in its first 8 months?

For the debate, Oblivion didnt come out for the PS3 till many many many many many many months later.

i'm saying the reason 360 had so many AAA games out in 8 months was because it was out first, and got MAJOR 3rd party support because of this. no question though that ps3 has like 2 games worth playing.
