State your predictions. I will update this thread when E3 comes to see who was right or wrong.

Of course. Thats a given. Kinect may be making money but theyre not going to abondon the audience that dont have Kinect.
I will only believe it when i see it.. lolz ms annoucing new games..they'll probably announce another $10 live increase
They have to. They have a 50 million install base to appease. There's not that many people who own Kinect. I'm sure Kinect will be heavily focused on and it'll be a big joke here on SW, but there will be some big announcements obviously. rolo107
Some people don't think so. I will definitely bring this up again come E3.
Didn't MS state that they want to focuss on Kinect? Anway, I can see an announcement for a new Halo game, especially now that a new dev works for this IP
new shenmue?..please..don't say such things unless it's even remotely possible[QUOTE="kozzy1234"]
- New Kameo
- New Shenmue
That would make my day (:I bet its Halo news or some new Kinect stuff.
lawlessx
HEY! I am allowed to dream! :P
Sadly I think a new Kameo and a new Shenmue have less then 1% chance of having new games ):
I think it'll be a disaster, just like last year. Its going to be a bunch of sequels, Multiplats and the Crytek game. 360 is slim pickings when it comes to new anything these days.Sp4rtan_3
Forza4, A new halo, Gears3?
Not to mention tons of Kinect stuff? I dont like Kinect or Move myself, but the way Kinect has sold, they would be smart to focus a godo amount on that.
Halo Combat Evolved rerelease now with Kinect controls!!!:D Just kidding, but I do expect MS to focus ALOT on kinect this year with the way it has taken off in sales. That could be good or bad depending on how you feel about kinect.
I hope they wait another year to announce/release the next Halo, or atleast have it look or play a lot differently from ODST and Reach.
I also hope they announce Alan Wake 2, they better not leave that series on a cliffhanger. Also if there is any game that could be cool with kinect support Alan wake would be my choice.

I would LOVE a new Alan Wake, very underrated game that one.
Halo. Maybe Project Kingdoms. I don't expect anything else.
Oh, what they'll do this year is Kinect games for the "core gamer". Maybe an RTS.
Traditionally there will be at least a huge one announced, like Codename Kingdoms was announced last year
I dont expect more than one behemoth game though, Kingdoms was too good to be true in the first place, cant see how they can do better

Codename Kingdoms?
and it's not like their competition is supprting new ip very often (expecially nintendo).

I agree 100%. Sony knows how to present and market and support new ip's much better than MS, but it's not like they have a ton of new ip lined up for 2011
I expect a new game announced from Rare, Lionhead (Fable 4), Remedy (Alan Wake 2), Feelplus (RPG), 343 Industries (Halo project)
Hopefully from all of them :)

And Microsoft isn't?
Looking forwards towards new information on the next steel battalion game. Hope to see some new RPGs too.
Halo 4, Kingdoms, new Rare game (hopefully not Kinect? :( ), one of their studios we havent heard anything from (Firebird or that Peter Jackson one).

Not really no.No. Absolutely not. There will never ever be another core game for the 360.
The cows whispered it to me in my dreams last night. They were in their fields, chewing, chewing, chewing and they whispered it over and over again. No new games, 360 is dead! No new games, 360 is dead!
I tried to block them out, but I couldn't. The chewing, the chewing....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

What IPs have they started this gen other than Gears of War? Kameo, Viva Pinata? Where are those now? Really, their most promising new franchise recently is Dance Central. Not even their own game.[QUOTE="GFugue"][QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"] True, but they're keeping the IPs they started this gen rolling really well.FIipMode

Not really no.Halo, PGR, Forza, Gears of War, Fable, Alan Wake (though we don't know how that will progress), Crackdown, Prey and Viva Piñata are the franchises I know to have good ratings and released regularly.
Not really no.[QUOTE="FIipMode"][QUOTE="GFugue"]

Viva Pinata had a couple sequels, and an Alan Wake sequel isnt out of the question yet.

Alan Wake, PGR, Viva, dont seem to have a sequel in sight. And Halo and Forza came out last gen.Remedy is working on a new AAA xbox 360 title, probably Alan Wake, and MS said they were shopping around for a European studio to work on a new PGR, so i think those are very likely.
