well that goes with the collegiate athletes not being paid

I know, I just wish there was a way around that.[QUOTE="R3FURBISHED"][QUOTE="Blabadon"]Probably buying NCAA Football 14 down the line for Denard, but otherwise, the games are too soulless without the players' names and likenesses.Blabadon

I know, I just wish there was a way around that. i mean, people update the rosters every year pretty accurately. you just have to wait a few weeks after launch[QUOTE="ShoTTyMcNaDeS"]Good, that hopefully means that we will have NCAA 2K15 next year and have a real football game to play. 2K football was the best!!!Heil68They are stating they are done with video games period. No, thats not the case. The NCAA/EA are facing a lawsuit over image rights, that's why the ended the agreement. Once that's resolved it'll be back. This is just covering bases.

This.
NCAA and EA both stand to lose substantial amounts of money from eachother. Once its hashed out they will be back together eventually because at the end of the day after all the bullshit all that matters is money.
EA has the sports name behind itself and the capital to back it up. Not many other companies can handle an annual sports game like EA does. Only way I see it changing is if activision swoops in and grabs them with a big ass box of money, they would need a sports divivision but something they could exploit annually would be something activision would want.
This is because of the Ed O'Bannon case against the NCAA. The NCAA has been getting a good looking into by the US Government and this is the them trying to clean their ass before it hits the fan. Any fan will tell you the NCAA has been dirty with its money and its probations against schools. If a school like Michigan or LSU gets in trouble they get a letter saying "Stop." If a smaller school like Utah State or Marshall gets in trouble they end up with 2 years in the electric chair. Not to mention lost scholarships and a bowl ban.
Basically when Florida State gets in trouble. A smaller school like Louisiana-Monroe pays for it.
Probably buying NCAA Football 14 down the line for Denard, but otherwise, the games are too soulless without the players' names and likenesses.BlabadonOperationSports edits the rosters into the game. Also, NCAA backing out doesn't mean as much. if the CLC backs out, then it's a problem. The CLC is like the NFLPA and owns the rights to the 127 college schools. They're still working with EA, thus there will be a college game. it just wont be NCAA branded.

Most likely EA will just get the top 5 power conferences and make the next game or not even bother. Trying to follow Twitter on the subject is almost impossible.

The CLC negotiates for all 127 schools and currently works with EA. They also own the names to the bowls. So the only thing that is being dropped is the NCAA branding and logo. College football on video games consoles lives on, it will just be called College Football 15. EA just confirmed this.
[QUOTE="timbers_WSU"]You a Huskies fan, timbers? I like UDub if that is what you are asking except the day of the Apple Cup. That day they are my enemy and can rot in Hell. The next day we are friends again. I am a Seahawk fan.Been a fan of them since the days o Dave Krieg and Steve Largent. I have no problem with the Seattle area unlike most people in the eastern part of the state. This is because of the Ed O'Bannon case against the NCAA. My guess is teams in conferences like the Mountain West and MAC are getting left out. Hope not. But I would not blame EA. The team license could get expensive pretty quick. And I don't see EA telling Alabama or Florida to go **** themselves.[QUOTE="timbers_WSU"][QUOTE="LordOfPoms"] OperationSports edits the rosters into the game.
