Previews are completely useless.

Really, how often do you see an honest preview that calls out a bad game for what it is? Most previews are overwhelmingly positive, and I know for a fact that most of the games they have to play are complete garbage. Previewers know that if they give a game some bad hype, they're probably not going to get invited back to play it again. Hence, they sugar coat their previewers and leave the readers with a flase sense of confidence. These previews are supposed to help gamers make buying decisions, not help publishers sell games.

I dunno, Too Human got some pretty "meh" previews before it came out.

Previews, especially from large sources (I'm looking at you, IGN) are almost never negative. No use in reading them for the author's opiinion but facts and updates on the game.

When judging the outcome of the game,yes.

When looking at the content of a game, no.
