Previous gen consoles/games [POLL]

So, here we go. This Gen brought us the longed-for HD resolution and made many of us wow at those nice looking games. I did as well, until one day I decided to re-discover my 6 year old ps2. I thought it'd suck to play in SD again, and tbh at first I had that feeling, but as I played I cared less and less about the graphics. the game was good, I just liked playing it. Moreover nowadays you can find ps2 games at a very cheap price and I can buy like 10 of them for about 50 euros! ( around 72$ ) And there are a dozen of good games I missed out on, and I'm buying them now, instead of spending around 70 euros for only one game ( Fifa 2010 ).

So here's a poll for you.

I play old games for some reasons, one of them being that I have no money to spend on videogames. They cost a bit too much for me so I very rarely buy them, except for the second handed ones.

I still play my last gen consoles - and all previous gen consoles tbh (all but my Snes are connected to my TV).

Right now i'm playing through Killer 7 and Battalion Wars on the GCube, and Jet Force Gemini on the N64 (never finished it) though I dont invest as much time in them as I should. Saying that I do play many more older PC titles.

Still play on my N64. Love the controller and the games I have. Paper Mario. "Nuff said.

There were a lot of games I missed out on last gen, so I kind of have to play them now.

Which is convenient, since they're usually much cheaper than modern games and I can actually afford to buy them.

I rarelly play last gen games with the exception of Halo1 and 2. Still i still play lots of 16bit games (my favourite gen) since i love 2d platformers

I also liked the 8bit 16bit era, but some genre of games just sucked, especially the ones in which you have to simulate reality, like racing games, shooters and so on I prefer them in HD and with good graphics

I play my PS2 often, if using my PS3 to play PS1 games counts then i do that often aswell! i have also been meaning to play my gamecube more but i've just been so caught up in everything i've been playing. i have like 6 games to complete at the moment and Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 are almost out...
