Looks like it turned out very well. Wouldn’t mind checking it out myself sometime but I already have a ton on my plate these days so hard to say when I might get around to it.

God bless my local library; put a hold on it so I'll be playing it soon. PS+ extra and gamepass are garbage once again compared to just getting free games from the library.

Gotta give Ubisoft credit, they did well with Avatar game and now with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown making good games is always a plus on Ubisoft.

This is probably the best product from Ubisoft since Rayman Legends, but the game is so easthetically fugly, that it doesn't want me to play a mobile game.

I played the Beta so I am in the know. I loved what I played. I even bought the premium to get it 3 days early and two extra missions.

I said this game looked good in the other thread, and I was looking forward to it. We had the typical ubisoft bashers though, who called it shit, but here we are.

Regardless, I'm going to wait for that ubisoft discount...we should be getting it 50% off in 2 weeks haha.

I have seen some gameplay, and have heard beta reviews from streamers that spent over 15h playing it. Its not looking pretty.

Ubisoft seem to be a bit on a roll lately what with Avatar and now this. Good to see.

I played it for 6 hours. I have heard positive impressions from youtubers. I watched one negative youtube review and right of the bat he said the graphics were garbage, which they were not, so I dismissed him. For me the negative reviews are just a bunch of attention seekers, and since the first negative impression I saw was wrong I don’t even bother looking at the other ones.

Youtube has plenty of positive impressions of the game by credible people and not nobodys.

But this is an ubisoft game called skull and bones that we're talking about. Farming attention by being negative doesn't apply to this title. Hell, i hear a bunch of people calling the game as a scam to the Singaporean government because they founded the game, and THIS is what they got after i don't even know how many delays.

Fair response heh. I just get tired seeing how often people shill for subscription services of billion dollar corporations who want you to own nothing so they can milk more out of you. It's just tiring hearing "I cant wait to play this on GAMEPASS!!!" like they're some sort of walking billboard. So I'm just trying to balance that out by shilling for a terrific and free community service that I think totally trounces the paid alternatives. As far as I know, I'm the only shill for libraries here while many others like shilling for corporations round these parts.

Looks pretty neat. Hearing that music and seeing those enemy designs made me a bit excited. Man, PoP is cool. Why did they ever stop making them?

I'll be playing this at some point. Not sure at what point, but I'll wait for a price drop.

@Naylord: It is odd you talk about owning when you are borrowing games. Services like GamePass are optional and significantly reduces the cost of gaming. Just like you don't see the need to purchase games others gamers align or are hybrid of purchase/rental of both. So, like you, they use services available to them to play games. This is the SW, anything outside of the normal is just trolling.

So far, I'm really enjoying Lost Crown, It is definitely the best Metroidvania I've played so far since F.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch. I get that the graphics are on Switch level but that doesn't mean the art itself is crap, the game itself looks great to me. The controls are tight, the graphics are fine, and the voices are good too. The Demo really surprised me in many ways.

Many gamers will sadly be blinded by their hatred for Ubisoft completely forgetting that this game is made by the same team who made the last two Rayman games which are some of the best platformers coming from Ubisoft. I gotta say, they did a great job with this Prince of Persia game.
