Project Offset Forum Closes - Possible chance of cancelation of game

The original Project Offset site was first shutdown as it's main section was merged with the Intel website in a forum section there.

However, it appears that the Project Offset forums there are too going to be shutting down. This could mean that the game itself is completely dead in the water, as it seems that there will be no more information coming down the pipe lines.

I figured it best to just stop hoping years ago. I'm not going to be feeling the massive disappointment when it's finally cancelled outright.

This game still looks the OMFG amazing, it will suck if it does down the drain now :( Lets all hope its not canceled and just a reboot of a site with an official name.

Aww, i have been thinking vaporware for a good amount of time now, and i said that they either announce a date this year or it's a no go situation.

I want it to make it because the concept of the game is very appealing to me. It is difficult to remain hopeful though with the time it has taken, and the low amount of progress that has been presented.

While disappointing, somehow I am not surprised. But, lets hope it is not getting cancelled.

That sucks, but they released the trailer of the giant recently, so I doubt it was cancelled. SaltyMeatballs

Its a huge shame. Its about time we had a fantasy shooter that was actual good. would make a huge change from the rehashing crud the genre has become.Birdy09

It was just a game hyped for its graphics, nothing more.

I was mainly hyped by the fact that it was a fantasy fps.

Not exactly surprising. The game was borderline vapourware at the best of times, and after killing the consumer version of Larrabee v1 I'm sure Intel wasn't exactly willing to break out the wallet.

Of course it will never come out lol this game was annonced what 3-4-5years ago? and we haven't seen one *REAL* gamplay of it.
