Proof that BF3 is losing players on console?

I recently decided to trade BF3. It is far and away the worst Battlefield game I have played and the biggest dissapointment of the year for me. Ironically I got Homefront back with the buy 2 get 1 free at gamestop. (I originally had the PS3 version and decided to go with the 360 version this time). Well according to the guys on XBL, Homefront has got a big player boost in the last few weeks from former Battlefield players. On the 360, it is never that hard to find full games. They said it was always easy to find games but there are a lot more lower level players looking for something to play other than the big 3 (Gears, Halo, Call of Duty).

I personally did not notice fewer people playing BF3 but I have sen enough threads on the subject. I guess EA talked a little to much smack a little bit too soon.

Guess u bought it for the wrong platform. The game is great! Especially with 64 players.

So proof is in your personal experience and in the words of some Homefront dudes?

If Call of Duty 4 and Red Dead Redemption can still have insanely active communities on Xbox this long after so many new games have come out, I'd say BF3 is going to be just fine.

Until Back to Karkand is live im probably not touching it til then and most of my mates who play have not been on live so im less likely to paly when they aint online.

Doubt it's suffering a large loss. I uninstalled it, though; buggy POS. Oh, and, Boise State sucks. :P

Its honestly just a result of other great games coming out for people to enjoy. Most of my friends have been playing less or not at all lately for Skyrim, while others are enjoying Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Saints Row 3.

Once the season dies down and everyone gets their fill, the community will be a bit more regular. I don't know if it will have more players (since launch is when a multiplayer community is highest), but at least my buddies should be playing it regularly.

Whatever you think of BF3 or MW3, both are in a completely different league to Homefront. That game is a complete joke.

I've had no problems finding full matches in any of the game modes on Ps3, and I've been having a great time.

I've been enjoying Battlefield 3 quite a lot. The biggest problem with the game in my opinion is the limited game types, thats one thing I think Call of Duty does a lot better.

Homefront had horrible online.

TO me personally BF3 is the best BF game since BF2
