PS3's refuse to allow Prototype onto system
If you were dumb enough to buy Prototype, don't worry... the PS3 will help you correct your error.
Now, return the game and go buy Infamous.

I don't see the problem with prototype, it's getting universally positive reviews thus far (7 from eurogamer, 8.5 from ign, etc), I'm buying it, all ready own inFamous, they seem to be different games.

Well Prototype is on the 360, so it is the enemy and must be hated.

It makes no sense to whine and scream about a multiplat :? But yeah, I agree with your sarcasm, people are dumb. So, basically, Sony had some complete fail but you still found some way to spin it in your favor and promote it as if it was pwnage?
SW just got better.

sony had fail? nope the dev failed
[QUOTE="DeckardLee"]Uh, Prototype was made by Activision. So, basically, Sony had some complete fail but you still found some way to spin it in your favor and promote it as if it was pwnage?

No kidding. I didn't know that!
But, seriously, it's Sony's fault for requiring an HD installation. Either way, the problem is only on PS3s and as such is fail for the PS3 no matter who caused the problem.
Yea and you could do that mayor stupid fix where you have to delete a lot of stuff from the HD or just disable the orange info thing that appears right on top. Problem solved. Some people had that problem with R&C: ToD, too, so it isn't limited to Prototype.

So it's Sony's fault for decreasing the loading times? Huh, thats strange
I'm honestly not surprised that your commenting here, just by reading your old posts ;)

It didn't help load times. Running a 360 game from the HD or the disc is much faster.
Also, stop stalking me perv.

I wish that it was much faster, but all of the 360 games that I have installed have the same loading times as they did before. The only that that is different is my 360 isn't extremely loud.

So you believe installs are for making loading times faster? You don't think it's because of the slow BR read speeds? Hmmm interesting[QUOTE="DeckardLee"]

more often then not multiplatform games that require an install on the ps3 do not load faster then the 360 counterpart.I wish that it was much faster, but all of the 360 games that I have installed have the same loading times as they did before. Ummm ... Read?
I was comparing PS3 vs 360.
I have Prototype PS3 coming tomorrow... Activision better get a patch or something out for this soon. I'm sick of developers releasing half assed products only to patch them later on.FlamestosI know what you mean the days of games releasing when their actually ready, and not bug and glitch filled messes is over. All they want to do is get it out the door as fast as they can.
Is this damage control, or are you so caught up in your fanaticism that you fail to see that this is not a good thing for Sony/PS3? I mean that is some crazy spin that you're trying to put on that story.PS3's refuse to allow Prototype onto system

It's actually a great thing for Sony and the PS3. Why would Sony want you to buy Prototype when you could buy their own Infamous?
Bluray001
FYI: Prototype is, thus far, rated higher than inFAMOUS.
Maybe in the short term, but if there were many multi-plat games suffering the same problem then I'm certain that this would impact the consoles sales. Imagine if the PS3 had a reputation of having broken multi-plats where the 360 had solid versions that always worked. Do you think people would see this as a weakness in the PS3 and instead purchase a 360? Then what do you think would happen? Well, there would be way more 360 owners out so developers would focus more of their efforts on developing for the 360. Do you still think that it's good for Sony? It's actually a great thing for Sony and the PS3. Why would Sony want you to buy Prototype when you could buy their own Infamous?

Doesn't seem to be a problem for the Wii. :PPlease Log In to post.
