As most people on here can probably tell, i'm more of a Sony fanboy than anything else, but i'll easily admit that Zelda: TP >>> everything out for the ps3 right now.

Well, tbh, I've always preferred Zelda games above all others, except some RTS games.

And I've never gotten into shooters, so Resistance, R6V, the Darkness, etc. mean nothing to me. I've enjoyed the Killzone series, though, because of the atmosphere/universe/whatever. It has something more that an average shooter doesn't. Besides KZ, what few shooters I play I play on the pc.

And i've been playing Oblivion on my pc with better graphics for well over a year. As good as it looks, I still got bored with it (i'm only lvl 1) because I never really got into rpgs. They're too tedious for me.

Anywho, I stand by my statement that LoZ: TP is better than anything on the ps3 right now.

I never thought i'd actually be arguing against the ps3 like this. :(

No I didn't. The talking heads at Nintendo have even said themselves that the core gamer no longer matters to them. They want to make games that appeal to your mother, they want the woman of every household to be the one who has an interest in the Wii, Miyamoto proved that much with his ramblings at GDC. My claims are 100% accurate and I've yet to be proven wrong. Just look at the up coming games. Most are geared towards the non-gaming or very casual audience.

And yet Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy and SSBB come out this year. All real games. Even if they are shifting focus towards the casual/non-gamer, I doubt they will completely ignore the core. And there is always third party. Suda51 has No More Heroes coming out and then he and Kojima are working on a Wii game together. BWii comes out in September. Day of Destruction is still on the horizon and even though it's a port Resident Evil 4 Wii is faring well.

So, I'd say you aren't 100% accurate. We will be more sure of how accurate you are after E3.

That doesn't necessarily mean that the Wii is for kids, it shows that it is accessible to all ages. If anything it shows that Nintendo has succeeded in completing its goal.
