I really have no sense of the passage of time.

tbh the entire concept around the game seems great, and all that gore and insane dark powers, cant ask for much more, yet from the E3 trailer, the graphics looked pretty terrible, the main character looked good, yet look at the buildings when he jumps on them, or that stupid tank, the textures and such looks almost like a ps2 game...hopefully it won't look like that in the retail version, yet if theyv'e released the trailer like that, probably it will.

Great start, its going to be a solid AA game here.

well so is infamous, yet it looks much better.

I agree about the insane graphics not needed, I'm actully playing through the original PS1 metal gear solid and I think it looks good :P, but what annoyed me is the diffrences between how detailed the main character looks, and how terrible the tank looks, its not a matter of if the graphics are good or bad, its just that they didn't seem balanced enough, as having something that looks great collides and interracts with something that looks not very good, and the balance between the two just pops out to your eyes :P watch the "3 minutes gameplay" video at IGN in HQ, the things I was speaking about are there, the tank and the texture of the buildings in the city, also the cars and theyr'e broken glasses window, it looks like a ps2 game, and when you have the main char which looks very good standing near those, its really annoying me for some reason, and I'm really not a person that pesters about graphics...

but don't get me wrong, the game looks awesome overall, like a great excuse to do everything you wanted in GTA but couldn't :P (and thats why really don't like the GTA games), if it really ends up this good and won't have any negative surprises, I'll be getting it for sure.

We need more games like this one.

GTA 4 wasn't as good as people made it out to be IMO. Sure running around causing mayhem was a blast, but I get same feeling for all of GTA games. Story was interesting, but i didn't complete it because missions were getting repetitive. And multiplayer blows. Still fun, and city is gorgeous, VA was amazing. But repetitive. DaViD_99

Wow. I like how my GTAIV post, which was itself a mistake on my part, changed the course of the entire thread.

In an effort to actually be on topic, I will say that it seems like Infamous has better gameplay but Prototype has the better story. I'll probably end up buying both at one time or another. And I don't think that there will be a huge difference in scores across the board.

Dudes omg seriously omg, believe me when i say NONE not one of the gameplay videos does the game justice NOT ONE, there are loads of civilian models to mess with (arguably far more than infamous and car models as well) and the civilians are well polished, you'd be amazed at how well they look, GRAPHICS are not a problem buildings are well polished and shined up better than i thought, (which is why noone who played the game ever said anything about the graphics because they're awesome) the v/o are breath taking actualy, when you pick up a civilian and drag them everywhere its so satisfying to hear some of the things they say, there is litteraly so much screams, and omgs ! you literaly dont know whats going on, the game, for the first time in any game, actualy FEELS like new york in panic amazing sound when on the ground it basicaly sounds like a riot of people, play it with the stereo blasting !, Story ? AMAZING, for everyone who said the story wouldnt be original, you're wrong the story took a turn noone thought it would, basicaly everything you think you know about the story, already is not it, its the exact opposite =D, Boss battles ? oh god dudes, are horribly hard.....the big one screams literaly knocks everything away cars, people, everything.........basicaly all the people who said this game would be easy ? you're wrong as well lol even on normal the game is hard and you will get owned by mere hunters espeacialy when they do that jumping slashing move over and over repeatedly, you will be forced to run from enemies occasionaly, the zombies and infected ARE as fast as the left4dead ones you have been warned. never in a game have i felt so satisfied killing civilians (sorry if that makes me sound sick) but their screams are just too satisying and dramatic sometimes

its definately in my list of top 10 games ever created period, it took a dump all over inFamous, im sorry but it did, best open world hero (anti hero) game to date.

they reviewed sims 3. i heard there's an embargo until the 11th but havent seen proof and 2 ps magazines have reviewed it so...

Its the PSW magazine i think.But is that really a credible reviewing source ? i havent checked their reviews recently.
